HAVE: Whatcha looking for? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/NW...=w1263-h947-no Can even include a 52t Sugino chainring (don't know where the 42t went...) It's not quite commensurate, but I'm looking for a decent set of 7400 side-pulls to complete a full DA build. |
ISO Chrome Fork
Looking for a Cro-Mo Chrome fork with a long (215mm/8.5") or uncut steerer tube. 1" English threads.
Nashbar & others sold decent Tange models in the 80's or it could be something higher quality. Kinesis or other polished aluminum forks might work as well. Items to possibly trade are Shimano derailleurs & chainwheels up to a 531 frame, wheel set, Mafac brakes or Campy NR cranks. Or straight cash deal. TIA |
Not a trade, but see this:
Urbanite Road Fork - Urbane Cyclist Bicycle Store | Toronto M5T 1R9 Don't know what shipping across the border would be though, |
I'm looking for a fork for a 60cm bike. Steering tube should be 200mm or thereabouts, axle to crown race 360mm or so, and rake of 38-45mm.
|
ISO 7 speed freewheel 13-32 or thereabouts Shimano spacing (don't really know if this matters). I don't know much a bout freewheeling so forgive me. Building a commuter for a friend.
Have: lots of random stuff. And cash. |

ISO:
Right (driveside) Axiom Journey suspension/disc lowrider rack. I snapped the right side and just need it, not the left. These are the ones that mount with the wheel skewer. |
Iso Speedplay light action / ultra light action
Looking for a low mileage pair, with cleats would be great. Preferably stainless, low miles or NOS. Would consider a pair with more miles if price makes rebuild worthwhile. Color pref dark blue or black. Flexible! Thanks folks, always rather buy something here than from strangers. PMs best

I have a chromed 4130 fork. 213 mm of steerer from the crown to the top of the threads. Lawyer lips, drain holes, and a mudguard eyelet. It has about 360mm axle to crown, and if I measured rake right, about 42mm. It has some scuffs and has been sitting around, but is in pretty good shape. I guess vtchuck is in the queue first, but oldmanjones, you've got dibs if he passes. Please send me a pm if you're still interested. |
ISO: suspension corrected double-butted/triple butted 26" fork, preferably with eyelets. deore xt 9-speed with a long body.
have: Cinelli Bars (38s, 42s, all classic bends)/other handlebars of nicer quality random Campy cranksets/rings (no super record/record) other junk that you probably want but i have no clue what it is. |
Have: Stronglight 93 crank arms in quite nice condition with French pedal threads.
Want: The same but with English pedal threads. I have a set of 9/16"-20 taps but before I do something irreparable I thought I'd see if someone wanted some unmolested French threaded crank arms. Also, have: 100/126mm set of campagnolo recors skewers. The rear is flat blade, the front is the curved blade quick release lever. Maybe someone has the opposite problem. Looking to swap the lever assembly and the skewer but I'll keep my springs and end nut. I'd prefer the flat blade but I'm open. My curved skewer is in excellent condition, the flat one has a bit of tarnish on the lever nut. |
ISO:
Nitto Young stem 80cm 22.2 For 25.4 bars I know I can find these fairly easy on eBay but thought I'd try here. It's been a while since I've bought anything from the folks on the forums. Thanks! |
ISO: Shimano 600 Tri Color brake levers to complete a build. Rider grade with decent hoods. Will settle for any Shimano Aero SLR levers though.
Have some decent things for trade or I have green paper with pictures of Presidents on them. |
edit: no longer available

Want: ~52.5cm x ~53cm frame. Something like an early 70s Gitane TdF. Low trail-ish, clearance for 650b. |

I have a Raleigh Gran Sport (73?, it's white with blue) that is ~52.5 ctc on the seat tube, ~56 ctc on the top tube. It shows it's age but is a solid 531 frame. I don't know the trail but it's a common frame so maybe someone here could chime in on that. I could add some other bits if needed to even out the deal. I have some 650B wheels so could measure clearance if you're interested.

Long shot ISO: 1981 Trek 710 in the tiny 19" size - really looking for this model and year because of the full 531 frame and non-slack head tube angle in the smallest size.
FT: whatchuwant? Thanks, GG Portland OR |
Wanted - Lyotard Marcel Berthet pedals, English thread.
Have all sorts of Campy items, etc. |

Not sure if Record (looked at it for 30 seconds and tossed it in the bin several weeks ago and haven't inspected since), and there might be issues with condition - but I will try to remember to check for you when I'm in today to grab some tubes... |

$18.50 Canada Post expedited to BC...
I guess it's just the territories that are so pricey. I shouldn't complain since we are subsidized by the south. Just decided to pull the trigger and found out longest steerer is 140mm. of course... |
