I'm looking for some 700c rims with 36h suitable for 35mm tires.
Preferably old style polished aluminum for an older classic bike renovation.

I have several New Winner freewheels both 7 and 6 speed and lots of extra cogs I can trade.

Thanks

This is for trade only. Discuss other options via pm or email or in the sales section. You need an upgraded membership for sales.

I've got seven 7s spacers, one is the shimano "second position" spacer for cassettes bolted together. One is a shimano spacer and the rest are Sunrace or something - no label.

How many you need?

CL here has a Soma Stanyan fork (Tange) with the chrome lugged crown for $35. It may well fit.

I am looking for the screw and nut thing that would fix the derailleur claw I have to the dropout. Co-op was surprisingly devoid of this particular part.

Have it.

Thank you. I managed to rummage something up and the super course found a new home.

Looking for a 406 (20") wheelset with a cassette and QR skewers. Matched and light preferably. Thanks and pm me if you have a decent set.

ISO Bontrager Race rear wheel. Not really vintage I know, but it was worth a shot.

I just sold a set last month, so not too far afield. If you keep an eye on ebay, these will go for cheap because they don't have name recognition. They are good wheels nonetheless.

I need a lower roller bearing race for a Stronglight A9 headset. It's the piece between the crown race and the bearings in this borrowed picture:

I have various C&V-ish parts to trade. If anyone has the bit I need we can work something out.

ISO: modolo speedy quill stem 90 or 95mm.

I have I few different sets of handle bars, brake caliperson, id's and ends for trade! Also have some cash, let me know thanks

Edit: a deda quill stem would be of interest also, or somthing similar and now that I'm thinking about it, I could probably manage a 100mm stem due to smaller frame

Looking for a few touring type bikes that fit 700x30 studded tires minimum. 53-55 size, downtube or whatever for shifting. Maybe even SS. New England area.

Narhay 12-06-16 01:17 PM

ISO one of the following...they may be interchangeable:
Simplex 3874
Simplex 2977

This is the pivot bolt on rear derailleurs. I have two and both of them are slightly stripped. Maybe you have a broken derailleur or a spare lying around. I can buy one NOS for $25 but I'll see what my options are.

Are you sure that all three (3784, 2977 and 2971) aren't interchangeable? That would not surprise me. An ebay seller in Maine seems to have several 2971s at less than $10 each, and free shipping.

Simplex Prestige Rear Derailleur Mounting Bolt #2971 New | eBay

Yes, $10ea and I wouldn't be asking the question.

http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/Site/...1-filtered.jpg

There are unfortunately two very similar parts...2971 has a threaded bolt end and a nut (2311).
2977 is female threaded and has the flat sided oval which fits into the triangular washer(2978). 2551 bolts into the pivot bolt.

They are, as far as I am aware, not interchangeable as the one is designed to work with the claw and the other with the simplex dropout.

ISO a single speed wheels set. 700 c Must be 32h or more. Would like a nice polished are aluminum finish. Will be mounting to a schwinn tempo. 126mm spacing

Thanks for the visuals. I had the similar problem recently and bought a NOS bolt from a French ebay seller. The bolt was identified in the seller's listing as a 3874, and looked very similar to the 2977 in the drawing above. I didn't have a part number, but just compared the seller's photo to the stripped part from my SX-610, and it happened to work out. Every now and then you get lucky.

I don't know if he has more of them--or if they are interchangeable with the 2977--but here's the seller's ID: maepomme on eBay

I have a 13cm 3TTT Status stem like this one (not my picture) except that it's missing the plastic piece:

It's not quite silver, slightly grey but mostly silver. It would at least give you something to try for fit.

Ha ha! What a great product name! I guess the marking department figured that cyclists have some insecurity issues. I wish I'd had one of those to put on my Nishiki Prestige before I gave it away.
