Vintage 10 Speeds Peugeot Road Bike 70's

"Hubs are named Normandy, very rare "

My hubs are named Becky and Susan.......

"Wheels are rare, they are like some drilled slot rotors on the side walls"

Wanna bet this refers to the stock dimpled steel wheels? The funny thing is that with the right copy and decent photo's (assuming the bike is clean and road ready), he could probably get $120-$150 for it in this market.

I would love to have this Raleigh. It is rare indeed, I think they only made like 1,289,147 Raleigh's models like this that year (in the Silver/Light Blue color with foam grips of course). It would look great next to the other 14 I bought last week for $.76 each.

I actually sold one of these for $200 a year ago. I would say your right on the dimpled "dirlled slotted wheels." At least hes not asking some ridiculous amount.

The worst (or best) part is 30 years from now, the next generation of vintage bike pervs will be having a cow trying to track down that bike's pedigree.

I'm tempted to buy it.

But if you want something to give the department-store MTB collectors of 25 years from now a REAL cow, have a look at MY latest Craigslist posting:

https://miami.craigslist.org/bik/139034230.html

I counted parts from 10 different bikes in that thing. Wouldn't you know - $700 worth of bikes getting thrown away and sold, until various parts of them end up converging on a $35 dollar Craigslist beater.

Take care,

I don't care how nice it is. It ain't worth anything over that $100+reserve if it has a broken frame pump boss:

https://cgi.ebay.com/1971-RALEIGH-MEN...QQcmdZViewItem

Gotta love his selling point: "May even have original British air in tires?!"

For god's sake, even if you care whether the air molecules in your tubes came from England or not, I'm sorry to tell you that after 30 years, there is no denying that all of it has leaked out...and consequently replaced with American air molecules. "How ghastly!"

Now this one I found fairly confusing:

https://tinyurl.com/nb7vx

Geez, that rear hub with the axle and bearings removed but the freewheel still attached will sure be useful! And why is everything upside down?

It's a generic mass produced frame. It has no fork. It's been broken. It's $1000

I wonder if you could make it fit on this $2,200 '80s Raleigh Record Ace?

Bikes: 1 trek, serotta, rih, de Reus, Pogliaghi and finally a Zieleman! and got a DeRosa

Ok I thought we were going to see a true RRA and while
a bit steep I know some folks who would seriously consider it.
