I love the ones that give you almost enough detail... Either one in this ad would have been considered, but when I sent an email to ask about size, after a week discovered that they are both too small (54's I think)
https://allentown.craigslist.org/bik/127157410.html
But my favorites are the ones that give you no information, I tried to find one I saw in the past few months that said nothing about the bike except it was red... This one is just as good:

Of course, with the right decals, it could be whatever you want it to be.

Holy cow! After reading the description I checked to see where the seller was, expecting it to be overseas based on the writing.

these are nothing.... I have seen guys with sand blasted aluminum X-mart full suspension bikes claiming they are custom and cost such and such to build trying to rip people off.. but here is one:
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bik/135541836.html
no doubt it may have been pricey in it's day but I don't consider Trek custom... maybe personalised compenents...
EDIT: sorry I am not implying this is an X-mart rip off attemp mearly an add I find humourous

I was surprised no one snapped up this one....
https://cgi.ebay.com/SALE-Men-Racing-...QQcmdZViewItem
He even had it in two auctions at the same time one starting at $49.99 and one at $69.99. "You Cannot Buy A Bike Of This Quality Today For Under $500! " He said, and "You’ll Have Seen These In The Tour de France!" It's amazing that not one cyclist took the bait. Not!

Apparently one person clicked to get the estimated shipping cost, and it was over $120... more than the bike is worth.

RARE!!!! Schwinn Paramount Track Frame!!! Apparently from Aug. 1971 (Serial #H7157) with a new-style badge.
Only 127.50 (Reserve Not Met)
Maybe I'm not very knowledgable with Schwinn Paramount's - but that's rediculous.

This one has been on Boston's CL all week:
https://boston.craigslist.org/bik/136604876.html
The seller started at $250 and is now down to *only* $200. I mean, it's a fine, servicable three-speed, but it's priced at four times what any sane person should pay.

That Phillips could fetch $200 out here, $150 for certain.
Once I DLed the Raleigh pic and adjusted the levels, it looks more like an early '50s DL-1.
