I am looking for a lightweight Raleigh mixte frame, if anyone has one. I'd prefer just the frame, but I quess it doesn't matter if it's a whole bike. I'm making a bike for my wife that we can use when riding hills.
Thanks! |
WTB: J.A. Stein (or similar) fixed cup wrench clamp. The threaded cup thing that holds a fixed cup wrench to the BB shell via the spindle.

I'm not sure if this is a typical wtb post but I'll go ahead anyway. I'm a student up in Bellingham WA at WWU, and when I came back to school I had to leave my Peugeot back at home, leaving me absent my primary form of transport. I'm looking for someone in the area who might have an old road bike laying around unused. I wouldn't be able to pay much, but may be able to make up the difference in labor, or any work you may have to do. The bike doesn't have to be anything fancy but at the same time I'm not looking for a Huffy. I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd give it a chance.

Picked up an older Trek for cheap but it needs a shifter replaced. Current components are Shimano 200 GS SRAM 7 group. Everything seems to be working fine expect for the left hand shifter (controls front derailleur).
Looking for replacement shifter Thanks Greg |

I'm getting ready to build up the enormous Apollo coming from ricohman, and am searching for a few odds and ends. It's going to be a fixed (gasp!) and I am not looking for (able to afford) high end vintage parts. Basically, I don't want anything black, silver and shiny is good, and I probably can't buy your campy record or DA stuff.
175mm crankset (including bottom bracket would be best), track or otherwise. Soild front brake caliper, long reach (I am going from 27 inch to 700c) Cheap pedals with alloy toe clips? Random track cogs for me to try out, though I have a 17 and 19 on the way. Thanks, Tommy |

What's the need for this ?? Why not take off the adjustable cup first, then remove the spindle, then remove the fixed cup (with a homemade wrench clamp if needed) ?

I have a 3T Prima Pro alloy bar and stem with 26.0 clamp that measures 46cm outside to outside...unless that is too wide for you...:D edit: On second thought....those bars/stem may be a darker gray....I'll check. |
ISO; One Dura Ace 7400 crank arm cap. My Tesch is missing one. In case someone has one and doesn't know.... They're flat, silver, and have two holes on the outer edge. They say Shimano Dura Ace in a circle around the perimeter of the cap.,,,,BD

Actually dark gray would be even better but I thought it was to much to ask. 46 is great, former D-end... I ride a 55-56cm bike but like 44+ bars. Some of my bikes have looked stange. Can you post a pic, and shoot me a pm? |

I fished them out of a junk bin at a bike swap about a year ago. I didn't have a bike to put them on at the time, but couldn't just leave them there. I ended up building a Pinarello around them just so they'd get used. :) It's a sickness...... :o |

WTB - Bike licenses newer or old.
Bike licenses wanted for my collection. Some of the bikes you are finding have to have some on them.
The older the better but looking for them all. Also prefer Ohio or Michigan, low or consecutive numbers. But looking for them all! Thanks TJ |

I am looking for a good set of Japanese hubs for a touring bike project.
36 holes, 126mm, and sealed beaings would be nice, but not required. |
