Looking for a pair of aero brake levers. Not really picky on what kind. Going on a SS CX frankenbike I'm putting together.

wolfpack 02-08-08 06:17 AM

cyclotoine - I might have that Brooks Tensioning tool you're looking for. I will have to look when I get home. If I've got it, you can have it - just pay shipping to your location.

I've got four tires that are looking for mates. From left to right in the photo:

Continental Sport 2000 -- 23-622/700x23C (has orange sidewalls)
Vredestein Volante -- Off Black 25-622/700x25C
Vredestein Fortezza -- Off Black w/ Blue 23-622/700x23C
Vredestein Fortezza -- Off Black w/ Grey 23-622/700x23C

Anyone have one of these lying around? Or know of a shop with some like strays? I know the Vredestein ones are a few years old with the yellow stickers on the boxes. The Off Black type has white and gum colored sidewalls.

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a single speed coaster hub or wheel. Preferably 27 inch wheel size Its for a Raleight Sprite 27

jgedwa 02-11-08 09:11 AM

This one will be hard to find, but here goes:

I need a fork to go with a Bridgestone XO-1 frame. Ideally, it would be the one made for it: 1992 XO-1, electric purple, long 1" steerer (21" frame), for 26" tires and road brakes.

But, I would settle for a decent lugged fork with a long steerer that was made for 26" tires. Color, make, and brake type need not be right.

I need a white 80s Euro saddle, like a Vetta, Turbo, Iscaselle, Rolls, Regal, etc you get the idea. Doesn't have to be new.

I have a white Selle San Marco professional that is practically mint (well, 9/10 anyway). It is practically 80's (1990 date code I believe). Do you have trade goods? PM me if interested

Hi
I'm looking for a vintage l/xl rider with long chainstays and rack eyelets, that can handle a total weight of 260 pounds (bike, gear & rider). Doesn't necessarily need to be a "touring bike". I don't care whether the bike has original components.

nlerner 02-14-08 10:53 AM

I'm looking for one black aero Shimano 105-type brake lever hood, like this one that Loose Screws sells:

Thanks,

Neal

Campagnolo Pista fork crown race. Or if someone knows of another crown race that will serve, please share that information. I have everything else.

I'm looking for either:

a) a bar clamp bolt (both pieces) for a late '80's/early '90's Cinelli 1A stem. Mine broke when I was taking it out to replace the handlebars yesterday and I'm bummed that I can't ride the bike yet.

b) a 100/110/120mm reach Cinelli 1A stem (26.4mm bar diameter). Condition isn't a big deal, the other parts on the bike have 15+ years of patina on them so a NOS stem might look kinda funny :)

Short of finding either, I'm headed for Home Depot to find a bolt that'll suffice for the bar clamp...

WNG 02-15-08 07:09 AM

I'm still searching for that elusive barrel nut for a Suntour Superbe Pro rear derailleur. It's for the flush/aero pulley cage model.

Also, looking for a Suntour front derailleur band clamp for a Superbe Pro. Cyclones and few other models also used them.

Here are some gratuitous shiny polished parts pics.

a) a Campy or Sugino seat binder bolt should work just fine.

b) I have a 100mm Cinelli 1A stem (not sure of the clamp diameter, I don't have calipers) that has a Sugino seat binder bolt in place of the bar clamp.

WOW! And to think I laughed when I saw one on eBay go for something like $70!
I figured that anybody that wanted one, already HAD one.

They were about $10 when I got mine. :p

Yogurt 02-15-08 11:01 PM

I didn't realize they existed until a few days ago! I've spent as much as $30 on a belt-buckle, but yeah...eBay is a bit disheartening. Still, I'd love to add a Campy belt buckle into the rotation.

ISO: Simplex (or Mavic) Retrofriction DT shifters for braze-ons. Cut-outs preferred, but let me know what you have.

TommyL 02-16-08 08:29 PM

The last thing I need for the Apollo is a front brake. It has to have a pretty good reach, because I converted to 700c. Let me know what you got. I had a Tektro front brake but the fixing bolt wasn't long enough, so it's gotta have a long fixing bolt as well. Let me know what you got!
