It has been a while so I'll give it another go no matter how long of a shot it is.
I am looking for a prewar Frejus frameset or full bike. Ideally it would be 54 cm c-c and NOS , but I would take anything in any condition. I'll also take any leads (you know a guy who knows a guy) and would be happy to give a reward for the information leading to the acquisition of the bike. |
Well, I blew it. I sold my mid 80s Nishiki Cresta GT because I was short on cash, and several months later I'm kicking myself for it. I even contacted the purchaser to ask if he'd sell it back to me, but no luck.
So now I'm again looking for a nice touring bike. Steel (of course) with all the braze-ons. Frameset or complete. 62-63cm seat tube ctc, 57-58 top tube ctc. Let me know. |

Well, as Freewheelin' Franklin sez "Vintage Touring Bikes will carry you through times of no money better than money will carry you through times of no Vintage Touring Bikes" ... or something like that. ;)

WTB set of EDCO bottom bracket fixed cups with Italian threads.

WTB - A decent framepump, doesn't have to look fancy, but it should work well. PM me if you have something, because I doubt I'll check this thread again.

Looking for a Cinelli handlebar trade if possible. Mod Giro D'Italia I believe is the model? The one's I have are 14.5 inches Center to center on the ends of the drops. Looking for the same bar but way wider. About 16 inches or wider on the same measurement. I love them, but they're too narrow for me. These are for my recent Paramount find. Please let me know if you have a set that's too wide for you. Thanks!,,,,BD

I need a silver Campy (or other quality ISO) 1" threaded headset, with a stack height of ~34. Anyone?

WTB left side cottered crank arm for '70's Motobecane
The nice green Motobecane Mixte bike I just bought for my wife seemed to be in great shape other than mismatched pedals but now I see that the left side crank is bent too. It has these old school steel cottered cranks and the only ones I can find new are the 6.5" Pyramid which aren't long enough. This appears to be more like 6.7" or 170mm. Why wouldn't Pyramid make the matching right side so I could just replace them both? Arggghhh!
Thanks for any help. |

Toying with the idea of a frame upgrade for my Barracuda Mk.I, frame is currently a 84 Centurion Sport DLX, Tange Infinity tubing and stamped dropouts, 60cm. I'd like to replace it with a frame with a Sport / Sport Touring style frame, closer to 57-58.5cm of Asian build (it'll initially get a Shimano 105 Golden Arrow group, perhaps changed out for a more touring minded setup later).
