Did someone here mention earlier that they were in need of Victory shifters?

700c 36h, eyeleted silver box section rims (mavic ma2 preferred, even just a single one would be nice). or campy nuovo record high flange 36h hub laced to a rim like described.

also looking for campagnolo nuovo record bar end shifters.

Help! I need some cranks to finish my restoration. I am looking for vintage 175 or 172.5 campy cranks but almost anything will work for my sexy beast of a bike.

She looks sad without them and pedaling stinks...

There were Victory NOS ones on eBay a few weeks ago at half the price. That price seems steep.

WTB: 24.0 seatpost for a carbolite Peugeot. Friend's girlfriend got one on CL, PERFECT shape, minus the missing seatpost. Now its time to track one down, anyone? please? I have good trades and/or cash.

I believe Jones ran out of them - either that, or they haven't been listing them.

Come to think of it, I could trade out the pair I bought from them (mounted them to my Guerciotti) for a pair of braze-on Nuovo's.

Need a pair of 130mm Hubs or Tires

I'm a newbie trying to re-build from an older frame which has 130mm dropouts instead of the standard 135mm (right?). So I need tires with hubs that will fit into the 130mm space.
Can't find any of decent quality these at local stores, internet venues, or ebay.
I have good money to pay for a nice light-ish set, would really appreciate a 6 or 7 cassette to match as well.

Thanks,
Mitch

Nope 130 is standard so your frame is modernish by the definitions of this forum. You could put campagnolo bora ultras on your bike if you want. You will have to use a cassette however and if you want to use 7 speed you'l need a spacer on the inside of the freehub, though you can run up to 11 speeds if you like (campagnolo). Any shop with road bikes will have wheels which will fit your bike.

Seriously?! I have a set of braze-on Nuovo's that I picked up this weekend! Wanna trade?

Dan

EDIT: After checking on VeloBase, I believe these are Super Record. Still interested in a trade?

Those are SR's, and I'm entirely game. PM me.

P.S.: Those come off a Cannondale or something of that nature? Looks as if they have a bolt-through mounting system.

Mitch,

It almost sounds more like you're trying to rebuild from an older 126mm frame, especially if you're mentioning 6/7 speed cassette. And if you're doing that, you'll need to determine what size wheels you can use, the brake pad range, and a couple of other things.

PM me, and I'll give you a list of things you need to know first.
It's not complicated, and you may have a lot more options than you think.

I took this Suntour bar end shifter out of a donor bike and found out why there was an inch of duct tape wrapped around the handle bar end. I need the expander wedge pieces, or even the whole shifter? It's for the front derailleur. Help?

update 10/14/08: Thanks for the many responses, but I am pretty sure I have this taken care of now.

Along with the Golden Fleece and the Holy Grail, I am looking for a Raleigh Team frame / bike in the Raleigh / Panasonic team colors. I need a 55 or 56 top-tube. 753 is ideal, but I’d be happy with 531 also. I have a Panasonic Track 2000 (55cm top tube) and various vintage Campy parts that I’ll try to get pictures of this week… Thanks all.

ISO/WTB a Shimano "Golden Arrow" rear derailleur, RD-A105, short cage or long cage.

Thanks to BF's own Jon Fischer for his great Velobase site.

I've got about 14" at the moment! The longest my hair has EVER been, in spite of being "hippy" since I was a kid. (I'm a 1960 vintage).
My Pop passed away at 82 with a full head of hair, so I think I'm good, for awhile at least.

The wife says I look like Jesus Christ, but my friends say I look Like Chuck Manson!
