Here's something interesting: https://www.ebay.com/itm/PEUGEOT-TRIA...item2324c06ade

Apparently, the guy has a time machine. He bought an '87 or so Peugeot Triathlon and took it back to the future of 1976/7! Amazing facts, here on Ebay...

This stuff happens. Had a guy locally selling a 1952 (?) Schwinn Continental as all original. When I pointed out the 70's vintage seat & reflector pedals his response was "this bike was ahead of it's time".

lol

never trust a seller to accurately date or describe their bike.. my 1989 Apex was listed as a 1994 lol.. the last two bikes i've bought i knew more about the bikes than the seller

this Is an interesting old listing-
study carefully the plumbing,

I think the motor in the rear wheel makes the energy, and drives the front wheel, there is an accumulator ,
note some hoses are dis connected, I cant quite figure it out...

WTF is right seeing a real nice Colnago Terry/Tri style frame setup as 8 speed with goofy upright bars is just wrong.

It's an olde mountain bike. Not Terry-style or Tri bike.

Here's another one with more proper parts and crazier paint:

Horrific. I see too many listings/for-sale-via-craigslist-kijiji that look this abysmal. Why? It's because the expectations are so low. Set the bar low and watch how sellers will exceed your worst expectations!

1947 Vintage Schwinn Colegiate, ALL ORINGINAL! This bike was taken care of! Hurry And Call Oscar Before This Classic Is Gone, (303)324-0211 Thank you.

This one is a true classic of CL wackness. The poster managed to get every bit of information wrong with typical bad add copy. Looking at the pics I'm not even sure it is a Collegiate.

^The shwinn also looks relatively new. I'd have to say that its a bike-boom model. Not worth much more than $100, if actually mint and original, IMO.

Hmmm. If that was mine I wouldn't sell it for less than $250. Looks to be in nice shape, OG tires and all. Podunk town location probably doesn't help seller, though.

Actually if that was mine I probably wouldn't sell it for less than $400, but I LOVE 90s MTBs.
