Barely a $70 bike, let alone 10 times that amount.

[h=2]Magical Schwinn Sidewinder - $50 (Roseville, MN)[/h]Magical Schwinn Sidewinder

I'm selling a nice used bike for a friend of mine who travelled and lived on it for a few months. She's a very magical being and anyone who receives this bike will benefit from her energy! It comes with a storage basket and a drink holder and is 64 inches long by 34.5 inches high, though seat can be raised. $50

Description is probably taken from a new Raleigh Grand Prix. It just reads odd, and with 32" tires?
Wants to get rid of it by monday, asking $250. Clueless.

That is funny. It reads like it was taken word for word from a catalog or something, yet all the info is incorrect, lol.

It is sitting at $9.99 still. If it wasn't 150 miles from me I would grab it for parts! It isn't worth the drive! I like the rack and fenders but 300 miles round trip to pick it up - No!

That must be a another label for the C. Itoh, Kabuki, Bridgestone line. The Itoh and Kabuki came with the same decal " Tested Finest Bicycle With Precision Mechanism" . If it was near me and $60. or less I would grab it for my curious Itoh, Kabuki collection!

I'd give you $20 for the rear or $30 for both front/rear light! Not sure that lubes the cogs any, but... I'm in dire need of that same rear light right now to complete a project for a close friend.

That's one ugly frame repair.

[h=2]Team Fuji road bike - $275 (East)[/h]

I have an all-original 1998 team Fuji road bike with carbon fork and full Shimano Ultegra 6500 kit. It could use a tune-up to shift and brake a bit smoother but it's in pretty good shape. Previous owner had a frame repair done (shown) but there doesn't seem to be any structural or alignment issues. This is a pretty cool bike, come check it out.

It's funny how many sellers emphasize that the tires hold air like it's some fabulous feature of the bike. Personally I dont care if both tires are flat if I find a bike I'm looking for as it's easily fixed, but I guess for some buyers a flat tire seems like an almost insurmountable problem..

Do it yourself and you must first determine the size, go to a store and find a similiar one, then return home and install it.....whew! And of course a patch kit is akin to nuclear science

Remember we live in a throwaway society. For some ( perhaps many I should say) the idea of installing a new tire is beyond their comprehension. Take it to the man and get it fixed or judged by the stuff I pick up in other people's garbage, throw it away. I've picked up a number of bikes sitting in the garbage pile at the curb that needed nothing more than air in the tires.

I recently bought a Giant chopper at a pawn shop for about 65 bucks. Why did they price it so low? The reason given without my even asking, was the flat back tire.,,,,BD

Indeed, there are plenty of guys here at BF that find that patching tubes is too much of a 'risk' and not worth their time, when they could just throw a fresh tube in, so the patchable tube just goes in the trash.
