I've been in the market for a Paramount for months, that is a nice one but I just saw a 50th anniversary edition with the gold fork not sell for $900. It was, in fact, Dura-Ace I believe though. That DeRosa looks like a beauty, although I personally don't find that stem appealing...

Not C or V, but pretty darn cool for some lucky little kid.

Piedrahita 20" wheel kids road/cross bike
[h=2]Piedrahita 20" wheel kids road/cross bike - $300 (Canton)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map)

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Piedrahita
size / dimensions: 20" wheel kids bike

This is a very distinctive kids bike, essentially a "real" road bike shrunk down to 20" wheel size. My daughter enjoyed riding and racing it, but it's time for her to move to bigger wheels.

Specs:
Welded aluminum frame and fork.

Sora 7spd STI lever shifting on six cogs (largest one replaced by a spacer, chainstays that short present some challenges).

Miche rear derailleur

Miche 125mm double cranks w/no front derailleur

Handbuilt wheels: Velocity Aerohead 451 ETRTO rims on Miche hubs, front radial, rear radial NDS/3x DS. IRC 28mm knobbies mounted, Cheng Shen slicks also included

Shimano standard reach brakes.

Kalloy seatpost and bars, Kelly steel stem

Flat pedals mounted, If you like, I'll include some yellow Xpedo SPD-compatible pedals and the cutest size 37 Shimano SPD shoes you've ever seen.

Don't forget the dork disc.

And yet, it has chrome lugs, chrome (or at least half-chrome) stays on the rear triangle, and an attractive (what appears to be) Brooks saddle, so it isn't without its redeeming qualities.

You jest, but sometimes steel rims and cottered cranks can be worth flipping depending on desirability of exact models. I recently sold a cottered crankset and steel wheelset for a tidy $280.

I tend to think in this case you're right.

This was on the local CL (ABQ) a couple months back. Someone local bought it and built it up I guess. I originally contacted the seller and he was firm @ $150, so I would assume this seller paid that. Probably does have more into it than he's asking now. Just not a good bike for me which is why I passed in the first place.

Here is a good one https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bik/5113592800.html

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Independent Fabrications
model name / number: Crown Jewel

Hand built in Somerville, MA
Reynolds 853 Tubing
Carbon Ritchie Fork & Original 853 IF fork (threaded)
Full Dura Ace Grouppo (minus the brakes - Sram Force because they work better with the rims)
Chris King Headset 1" Threadless
Thomson Post
Ultegra SPD pedals
Hand built 23mm wide H Plus Son Archetype rims w/Dura Ace Hubs
Gran Bois 26mm tires
90mm 3T Stem
3T Bars
Ridden and well loved by a mechanic
Concor Light Ti Rail Saddle (also have Terry carbon rail if preferred)

This thing rides like no other bike I've had. Smooth, fast, light, a dream in the corners. I've got a new one so this needs a new home.

53cm Seat Tube/54cm Top Tube

This is the "other" De Rosa...while it's likely a nice bike, I think he probably should have specified that to avoid confusion.
