I have a vintage Italian bike I am trying to sell. Its a red Guerciotti frame (54) . Had it built up for me a few years back but I am moving and it needs to go. Rode very little, in great shape minus a scratch here and there. It has carbon fiber Time forks and Shimano 600 gears. Price is $500 OBO but it needs to go by Friday. Call, text or give me an email.

Good condition Serotta Nova lugged steel road frame & fork with Dura-Ace headset, 60cm ctc seat tube and 57cm ctc top tube. It is from the early 1980s, Columbus SL tubing, Cinelli BB shell and Campagnolo drop outs. It has a Serotta factory repaint from some time in the 90s. It is rust free, has no dents and the paint is in fair shape - it has plenty of character and would love another factory repaint someday. A really high quality classic road racing frame from a Premier builder at that time. Looks great and rides even better. 126mm rear spacing, English threaded BB, 27.2 diameter seatpost. 60cm seat tube but rides smaller due to the 57cm top tube. In effect, it's more of a 57.
Bike is spec'd with an assortment of parts to make it rideable and enjoyable, not just an attempt at slapping period parts together. I bought the bare frame and built it last year, putting 300 fair weather miles on it before putting it away. I have way too many bikes and it's on the small side for me (I'm 6'2") so off to a deserving new owner.
Wheels/Tires: Mavic MA40 CD. 32h Shimano 600 tricolor hubset. Tires are Specialized All Condition 25mm. Wheelset and tires are in excellent condition and straight.
Saddle: Black/white Specialized Romin 143mm, steel rails

With almost complete certainty I will say that is a Versailles. I built one up for my wife and she loves it. Not top of the line but an eye-catcher and pretty spritely.

Low-end Jeunet Franche-Comte, but the price ($99) is right. Might be worth it for parts, a vintage bike to ride in the city, or to try your hand at refinishing a frame.

This was a custom order in '92 right before the Yen crashed and it was dark times for Japanese builders. The customer had ordered it and then backed out of the deal so it sat in the shop for almost 25 years until I bought it. It has amazingly light Tange 1 double butted tubing, internally routed brake cables and chromed stays with a chain peg. This frame has a NOS shimano 600 headset. Also has Panasonic dropouts front and rear, not the blanks used on lower level models. As a bonus this frame also comes with a Topeak full size frame pump that mounts on the pump peg on the head tube that has been painted to match the blue on the frame. This is an amazing bike, very light, patriotic and has a great lineage with almost no blemishes at all and absolutely NO pitting or rust.

This is a very classic and relatively rare French made Peugeot. One of their higher models of the time the frame and fork are Reynolds 531 steel. Components include Stronglight cranks, Simplex drivetrain, and Mafac Racer brakes with drilled levers. For anyone who really loves classic road bikes nothing beats a true Frenchie. This bike has all French parts on it. The finish is classic Peugeot with the French accent colors and earlier Peugeot font.
This bike has been tuned entirely here at the shop. We left the original cloth bar tape on for character, but otherwise it has been serviced completely. The tires are nearly new Continental tubulars.
51cm size is rather small suitable for someone in the 5'6" area.

I check Craig's list about twice a week, it seem never to have much new. Seem like good steel road bikes in the desert are few. Lots of plastic, carbon fibre, and composite.
