A similar Caminade brought 8750€ in 2015 when the Embacher collection was partially sold off at an auction in Vienna.
https://www.dorotheum.com/en/auctions/current-auctions/kataloge/list-lots-detail/auktion/11198-bicycles-from-the-embacher-collection/lotID/13/lot/1872708-caminade-caminargent-bordeaux-paris.html

However... this one's got an Osgear setup and running on wooden tubs. Nice, very nice indeed.

That Caminargent is like a fine old Bugatti. An absolute jewel. Every part of it. Take example the bottom bracket cast design exclusive for the Osgear mount and then drift your eyes to the special fasteners / bolts. Pretty axle wingnuts, everything is exotic for the time for maximum lightweight yet a knockout in aesthetics. That headstock, fork, dropouts. When will another like it be offered? Whew!

Seriously Lugged Sirrus

Specialized Sirrus Road Bike - Price Negotiable - $237 (Chapel Hill)

(Backpack! Bars! Arg!)

"We believe this is a '91. It has some very minor scratches on it but no damage anywhere. The tires are fairly new. It's a really cool and rare color scheme. It just had a full tune-up at a local shop. We replaced the cables and installed new brake pads. This is a very fast and responsive bike.

It's probably a 54cm. I'm 5'5" and can stand over the top bar. It's probably for anyone from 5'4"-5'10", more or less.

The price is negotiable and I'm taking offers. The first offer I'm satisfied with, wins it."

Nice Motobecane Champion Team. Other than rims it looks pretty original and a fair price for a bike rarely seen for sale.

Indeed had noticed that but sometimes a picture distorts or perhaps due angle during the shot. Would be wise for any potential bidder in confirming the forks condition. Zunow's are way cool.

The Bridgestone: Someone gave me one of these once, it was a lost cause, so I pulled some parts off. those are I think foot pegs, as they match on both sides, and are etched with lines, I guess to avoid slipping. Bad idea I know. The seatpost was quill style, so no pinch bolt on the frame. I think it was a "Skyway" model. Also, it had disc brakes, but I think it was very similiar.

It has non-original headset. Is it relevant?

IMHO, not necessarily relevant. The seller also notes its an 1980's era produced frame but purchased it new (as original owner) in 1996. They then built it with almost all later parts. The frame is what its all about especially with its original paint and graphics.

The question really is in sighting a potential fork damage. Again, its often the photo's of a bike can distort angles.

Anyways, its quite apparent these were available as framesets. The only copy of a catalog I have shows fully built bikes but no specific listing of components. Sorry if my answer sounds vague as I really don't have a conclusive answer if Zunow offered the Z-1 as fully built. Hopefully others will pipe in.

There's a few informative sites of the company and history, yet with the Zunow's many innovative designs and multitude of custom made frames, its difficult to pin exact date of productions. The earlier were all in house, the later and higher production models outsourced.

I have an average condition Trionic frame that someday hope to build up. My guess its from the later 1980's, perhaps 1989. The workmanship and details are something else. I'm undecided on whether going with later components or the older and period Suntour Superbe Pro. Being Suntour was also made in Osaka and a favorite component maker, it would be a Japanese premium.

The auction listed one could be an outstanding score.

Filet-brazed Aero Mercier frame and fork and some cool bits $175

Way cool! Great deets - - checkout the headtube and rear dropouts. Super Vitus 980 Aero tubing I think.

So that's at least three brands that use a crown logo: Sugino, Mercier, and Sycip.
