Hey - for all I knew, this was an angry divorce. I see any vintage bike for a buck, I'm gonna buy it, unless it's one of these Chinese scammers pricing stuff at 10% FMV, new account, 0 feedback etc. I report no less than 10 of those per day.

The good thing for you is no one in his area wanted it so if you really want why not try to open a different conversation and offer a price that both of you can live with...assuming that you can find a facilitator.

I bought it as a new leftover in 1990 thinking I would get into cycling, but never did, so only used it a few times over the first few years I have had it. It is still equipped with the original tires and brake pads, which should probably be replaced, but you can see how it came. It was a less expensive "racer" than the Paramount. Some features include: Dia-comp Brakes, Suntour Cyclone shifters, Tenex seamless steel frame, Wienmann rims.$250 OBO. Give me a call to come see it at 508 574-5539
