I have that bike in silver black 86 400D 60CM I was trying to give mine away on the cheap and no one was interested. I do not see how this bike is special or collectible. Bikes are really in the eye of the beholder. Now I have an 89 1500 58CM rides like a dream and still put licks in newer carbon bikes. Its my winter, wet or bumpy path bike. Wouldnt sell it for the world.

This bike is interesting, early 70s chiorda in nice shape with chrome socks.

i see campy Valentino deraileurs,
I think I see balilla brakes,

250 neg, I think if you can get it for 175 it's a pretty good deal, it's pretty.
i can help collect if someone talks fast.
Mike

blue vintage racing bicycle by Chiorda. A very impressive bike in its day, this bike has held up well. Frame is in good condition, but chain has some rust. With a basic cleaning and tuning, this bike will ride like new. Has new tubes/tires and bar tape already installed and the gear shift system has been professionally tuned. I'll give you my lock for free to go with it. I'm looking to give this to a good home who will give it the love it deserves. $250 OBO.

But I am not sure about the price for a Modolo/Ofmega equipped Alle frame. Is he nieve or being cagey with these tubing sticker pics?

ON a different note, I am not sure where to post so I'll dump it here. I was in a TJ Maxx store last night and as I leaving I saw some neon yellow and Orange shirts over in the mens area. I thought they mught be underarmour or something and they turned out to be have a Performance label in them. they looked like nice base layers. I didn't look at the price since none looked my size but if your out it might be worth checking out.

I wish that Nishiki was a tad bigger. I am very glad the Legnano is not bigger. That Miyata looks very nice esp for $200.

Interesting on the Torpado. I have a very similar bike I picked up recently..same tubing, same specs apparently, except less chrome. I thought that seemed like an ambitious price, but on the other hand, I am sure it's a very nice riding bike even without the more exotic "S" type Columbus tubes. Mine will be a retro-modern build with a CF fork (curse me, if you want) and the Modolo/Sachs components will move on to bring a more pedestrian bike back to life for resale, thus making my Torpado build pretty much free...but not pink.
