This one is a 59cm. I want 56 or 57cm. I have a 53cm which is too small for me, but I'm making it work with handlebar and stem magic.

Thanks, Aaron. So far, I still like the Lemond. I have a new stem I'm about to try. If I swap, I think I just want to swap framesets, not entire bikes.

Serotta "Phinney" model

And I believe that the Davis Phinney was their tight, quick criterium geometry model. Just know that going in.
Still if it fits, I'd do it, given that the dropout adjuster concerns can be answered.

I'm not sure which would be more difficult, walking, or riding this?

$1200

3Rensho Keirin NJS Track Bicycle

56 cm squared (center to center / toptube)
Mavic open pros / Suntour Superbe Pro hubs
Suntour Superbe crankset
3rensho panograph seat post (super rare)
Suntour Superbe pedals
Flite Ti Saddle

One small dent on the top tube (see last photo). Otherwise in good condition. Price is firm.

-------------------

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...291248386.html

$200 - Price drop, so reposting.

Perfect condition for it's age. Old school CroMoly steel. 21-1/2" seat post C-C. Wheels are true, tires excellent, no leaks. Cheater brake levers so you can ride on the top of the bars if you would like. If you see this ad then it is still for sale - if you ask, I won't answer. I am available evenings after 5:30 and flexible on the weekends. I also work on Edsal Rd in Alexandria if that is more convenient. M-F, 7-4.

---------------

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...304796012.html

$175

Posted for a quick sale is my vintage Greg Lemond Tourmalet. 59 cm. I am selling because I am moving and don't have time to do the repairs. Please note that this bike needs some mechanical work with the gearing. The RSX shifters work fine. However, there is a noise coming from the bottom bracket area that I can't diagnose. Also needs some bar tape. Very minor marks on the frame. Seven speeds in back and three chain rings up front.

$50

Old Cannondale road bike. 10 speed. Project bicycle. Missing one spoke on rear wheel. Needs new seat post and seat.

$50. If you're interested, send an email including your phone number. Sight unseen lowball offers will be ignored. If this ad is still up the bike is still for sale.

$140

Fuji 12 speed road bike. Handle bars recently re-wrapped and brakes were replaced. Brakes are both at the low handle bar position and up high, so you don't have to be riding like a speed racer. Shifters are located on the frame. Pedals can be used with or without clips. Watch out for your shins though, the pedals are metal and hurt like hell. Frame is 56.5 cm.

With a few adjustments and additions, this would be a great commuter bike!

I like that Lemond. Too bad it's not a 853.

Hardrock, you should snag that Cannondale for $50. It's an ST, could be your size, would make a great touring/C&O Canal bike.

Picture doesn't provide much to evaluate -- other than the seat is shot and it's a Trek 970. I am digging that lugged frame though. It may be worthwhile to kick the tires . . .

Unusual set of handlebars too. Better hurry, the listing is only 25 days old.

$500 Large 1964 Bianchi

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik...306048001.html

Edit: I just realized this is bike I've seen on and off CL forever. I'd look at it if it were my size, but perhaps there's something up with the bike or owner that makes it hard to sell. Proceed carefully, lol.

I was thinking about the Cannondale but it is so far away...I can grab an 86 Lotus Odyssey for not much more than that, just down the street, but I'm having a hard time convincing myself to get a touring bike. It's in perfect condition too...but I don't know what I would do with it!

The auction for this bike ends tomorrow morning. Price is still very reasonable at under $400. I would need to grow a couple of inches to fit into it.

Schwinn Volare $200.
Not all there (Deore RD and...?) but very red, and I don't think these show up every day.
