I wonder what size tires they are running? I would have thought there would be clearance for fenders?

https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/bi...093683779.html1984 Trek 520, 51cm lugged steel (made in USA) - $250 (Melrose)

1984 Trek 520, 51cm (made in USA)
This was my main ride for 8 years, and it's ready for many more miles still. There is some light surface rust, but it's solid. I upgraded the wheelset, the drive train, the stem, the tires, and I added a rear rack, fenders, etc. The only reason I am selling is because I wanted disc brakes when pulling a trailer.
Note for sizing: I have a 30" inseam and this bike fits me perfectly even though I'd normally ride 53cm.
Wheels: Velocity Dyad (700c)
Tires: Vittoria Randonneur (700c x 28mm)
Rear derailleur: Shimano XT 8 speed
Front derailleur: Suntour
Shifters: Suntour
Cranks/ rings: SRAM
Brakes: DiaCompe
Stem: Velo Orange (have Nitto stem also)
Rear rack: Ibera

Acer-Mex built out of same tubing, dropouts, and lugs as same vintage Cinelli Supercorsa .Double butted Columbus Chromoly frame measures 23.5” center of crank to top of seat tube with a 33”stand over height. I am 6ft with a 32”inseam and ride anything from a 56cm to a 60cm depending on configuration and fits very comfortably. Mostly Campy Record with Super Record Rear derailleur. Record front hub and Tipo rear. Cinelli stem with Nitto touring bars with Ultegra bar end shifters. Hinault edition Turbo saddle. NOS Campy brake hoods.New cables and housings, new chain and freewheel, new Velo Orange back rim. New Panaracer Pasela 700x28 clinchers.Headset and bottom bracket repacked. Frame has scale under paint and has been touched up as seen in pictures. Tear it down and restore it, just use the pieces on another project or use it just the way it is. The ride is amazing. Pedals not included. First $375 picked up in Harwich.I answer responses that include a phone number

not everyone's cup of tea: but my favorite bike is my kg96. sure it may fall apart some day, but its 30+ years old and still pulling my 200lbs.. so can't complain. 350$ and not met his reserve. I am tempted to make an offer even if it is a bit too large.
anyway, these don't come along that often! and I know as it took me years to re-find a kg96 in my size!

For you Medici owners:
MEDICI Handlebars & stem VINTAGE Road bike Panograph EROICA 3ttt pro strada 22.2
I can't confirm for certain it's the real deal, but if this is your thing, it's probably worth a look.

All pix from the non-drive side and with no details, but probably worth an inquiry.

Motobecane Mirage Sport - $119 - Albuquerque

"Mirage Sport, made in the 80s.
What a steel...
12spd, with Sachs Huret derailleurs, Nervar crank, Bontrager tires still in good condition, Rigida wheelset (Made in France). New chain in September 2019.
The pedals and seat shown on the pictures, along with the flimsy bottle cage, will all stay on the bike. But you’ll likely want new ones.
I broke my collarbone riding this bike and have, unfortunately, not wanted to ride it since."

Rare to see one of these around here for so cheap. Looks like it's been around the block a few thousand times, but still. I'd buy it if it were a little smaller.
