Some things the Americans do well, Jazz, the iPad and Vintage Tom Ritchey bikes are a few examples. (Facebook not so much :-)) This Classic Ritchey would be a " very nice gift for that "Stylish Someone Special that has taste" and would enjoy a sweet 27 year old Classic High End Ritchey in MINT original condition. This bike has the original tires, grips, cables and brake pads this is a Nevada bike so it is very clean and has NO San Francisco "Patina" of any kind. This is a very rare bike and nearly impossible to find in this condition. Ritchey bikes have a cult-like following among vintage cycling enthusiasts. If you are looking for a vintage/classic bike to zip down to Whole Foods to pick up some top shelf Earl Grey sipping Tea or just want to spin around Golden Gate park or stop for Sunday brunch in the Marina hit Farley's for a cup of Arabica coffee harvested from some faraway Exotic country where the coffee is harvested by the wild Civets, catlike beasts with bug eyes and weaselly noses that love their coffee fresh. They move at night, creeping along the limbs of Robusta and Arabica tree, sniffing out sweet red coffee cherries and selecting only the tastiest. This bikes Aluminum shine's better than grandmas silverware on Christmas day.

My price is fair yet firm.

I picked up the Univega Viva Sport. 23" frame, cro-mo main tubes, magnalite fork, hi-ten seat stays. 27x1 Araya rims w/ eyelets Sunshine GyroMaster hubs, Bontrager 27x1-1/8 T1 or T7 tires, SunTour Vx front and BL GT rear derailleurs, SunTour downtube shifters, Sakae CX 52-42 crankset, SR fluted seatpost, SR Road Champion bars, DiaComp G500 brakes/levers. Some kind of Shimano freewheel. Serial M3023xx - which I assume is made by Miyata. Overall very good condition, a few very minor paint chips & scratches. One slight ding in the middle of the toptube on the right side.

Vintage Peugeot PX-10 - $450 (mt airy)

Top of the line racing bike from the 1970s. Original owner had this professionally repainted brown and decals were replaced. Looks great! Large size. Simplex derailleurs and shifters. Stronglight crankset. Normandy luxe competition hubs with fiamme yellow label clincher rims. Mafac brakes. Needs a little work to get it riding.
