Peugoet PX-10 and Accessories $250 Boston Ma

Vintage Peugeot PX-10 frame with beautiful Nervex lugs, along with many accessories. The frame size is 53cm (21"). As you are probably aware, this is built using double-butted Reynolds 531 tubing, Simplex dropouts and the cool Nervex lugs mentioned already. The PX-10 is the classic bicycle of its era.

Decals are in decent shape, paint is mostly good, but it has the usual nicks. The chrome stays and fork tips are very nice. Overall it looks good and can either be ridden as is, once built up, or restored to like-new glory. Unlike many a frame on eBay that's been stripped of its crucial components, this has the more difficult to replace, including the original Stronglight headset and Simplex seatpost.

Original parts included:

Stronglight 52/45 crankset - with dust caps!
Stronglight bottom bracket
Lyotard pedals
Stronglight headset
Simplex seatpost
Brooks Professional saddle!
Simplex LJ front derailleur
Simplex chain guide
Simplex shifters
Huret cable clamps
Pivo handlebar stem
chain

I am also including:

Campagnolo wheel set with Nuovo Tip hubs and skewers; Nisi rims. These are period specific, they came from my early 70's Atala Competizione. They also include NOS 27 1/8" tires.

Various Mafac brakes and whatever other French period odd and ends I have lying around, please see the pictures.

The bike and parts can be seen in Beverly over the weekend, or in Central Square, Cambridge during the week. I am sure this will make a vintage bicycle enthusiast very happy. I could strip the bike and sell off all the parts for more money, but I would like to see this go to someone who will restore it.

Appears to be a pretty nice roo, but, the smaller front wheel is a little disconcerting:

[h=2]60 cm Tri Bike Quintana Roo - $300 (Liberty Lake)[/h]

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 60 cm

60 cm tri bike
Shimano 105 components
Cat eye computer for cadence and speed
Carbon Fiber forks
Great entry level tri bike! Use this to find out if you actually like triathlons before dumping tons of money on new bike. I rode this in Ironman and had no issues.

This popped up on CL recently: FUJI S12-S ROAD BIKE

I called the seller, asked about the frame, he said he only buys/finds and resells bikes, never rode this one but lists it at $175, "Condition: New". I asked about the "new" description for a 25 yr old frame, he said "well it looks new to me".

While I'm strongly tempted to drive the 30min and check it out, at $175, those components would need to be in pretty good shape don't you think? I don't know these 80's steel frames very well but this looks decently cared for (from one photo).

Also, he said he measured the frame at 22" from crank to top of seat tube...I checked the catalog, the Fujis came in 21 and 23, ie it may/may not fit me at 5'10.

"This bike works the upper body. See photo the bars go up/down and drive front wheel. Has been in storage many years and is like new with very little usage"

Gee I wonder why? I guess the front wheel drive is to get all that extra weight up the hills?

[h=2]Schwinn Super Sport 12 Speed - $150 (East Bethel, MN)[/h]Schwinn Super Sport 12 Speed

Looks like a 1983 with a 25" frame in Silver Blue Metallic Schwinn catalogs, 1981 - 1990 (205 of 456)

Schwinn super sport 12 speed , excellent condition for its age , few small scratches , has been in inside storage for 20 + years , 34 1/2" to the top of the cross bar ,center pull brakes, hidden brake cables, I was big into this 20+ years ago , but with age I don't remember too many specifics about the bike , but will try to help anyway I can . $150 Call Eric with questions

I can't buy this because he won't ship to Australia and no one looks like buying, he's been trying for a while and I think the price isn't to bad.

Nice example of the Raleigh Portage, the first American-made purpose-built 650B touring bike on CL and EBay (Los Angeles area). Almost all completely original equipment in excellent condition. A very similar bike sold last week on EBay for over $1350.

Dunno. I reckon you could at least check to see if the gusset, dropouts and seatstay tops look legit...

Typically they use breezer drops and the rear triangle is fillet brazed, whereas the main triangle is welded. The gusset on the front looks right to me also. Though I have one and like it, I wouldn't pay a king's ransom for one either...
