as recalled, Road King is a Bridgestone product line sold through department stores ----- The Eaton's Road King's were not able to escape the distinctive "CCM" front chain rings. Is T-Mar still contributing around here? -D.S. |

Possible duplication of names there- not surprising with a choice like Road King.

Is T-Mar still contributing around here? -D.S. received a PM from him about a year back to let me know he had taken a break from the forum to help the family of a close friend who had passed seems like it has been over a year now (subjective time) since his last postings he is certainly missed, especially so when it comes to all matters Nippon... ----- |
I was walking by the shop when I spotted this; the older gentleman had no idea what he has, just that he's had it for a long time and likes it. What's really interesting is that he said he's never taken it on the bus, and I spotted one last year, so there might be another one around somewhere.

A group of us were riding back home yesterday and at the top of the hill we spotted this gent.It was his father-in-law's, was passed down to another relative, who didn't know what to do with it, so she asked this man, "Do you want it? Will you keep it in the family?" His answer was something like, "YES! I mean, yes, of course I will." He replaced the hoods and other gummy bits and has been riding it for a week; he loves it to bits. I don't think my phone camera quite got the greenish-gold of the paint right; just gorgeous.

Okay, yeah, you're right. :p Though, to be fair, 5'4" is is average height for a woman, just not for bike companies' idea of a cyclist. /rant |

In the spirit of kinda fun (above) I saw this bottle cap & string thing outside the hospital where I went to visit 3speedslow this afternoon. Who knows what lurks beneath all this.
