Does anyone know what frame this is ?
Hi all I am currently looking into buying this frame. The one problem I have come across is it has been reprinted and I cannot identify what make of frame it is. As you can see from the pictures is has campagnolo drop out on the rear. The seller says he has a strong lite A9 headset to go with it. Can anyone tell what it is ?

No. But I can tell you the Campy dropouts are drilled for the "Portacatena" doodad, which made its appearance in the late 70's. Some builders used those dropouts into the 80's. So the bike is definitely not earlier than ca. 1977 and probably not a whole lot later.

That appears to be a very nice frame set. If the price is right, I would jump on it regardless of the who made it.
I would also weigh it and check for the spiral in the tubes. Check the steerer for the Dove. If both are there, it would be a nice Columbus tube set. I like the cut out on the lug as well as the long points. The seat stay caps might give it away along with the cutout and the BB slots to someone more informed than me. Routing of the cable above the BB is an indicator of 70's era along with the point @rhm made.
I don't know my bikes very well but the fork may or may not be original due to its bend. I could be all wet on that observation! Looks a little like a Tange crown.
The ST and HT angles are different too. What is the size? Looks like a 59 or even 60cm. Oh yeah, if you can get dimensions of the ST and TT it might help.

Sorry yes the seat tube is 58cm it does look very nice and is priced at about 150 euro with postage to my door. I think I'm gonna buy it and just put the stuff I have on my bike on it or now until I have some money for nice bits and bobs. It does look very nice tho. In the discription they said it is reynolds 531 and I thought that the cut out BB indicated it was a good quality frame too.

I agree with all the above comments and also that the fork blades look "Reynolds" like so could very well be 531DB. The threading and seat post size will be good clues. I'm a little baffled by what seems to be a painted frame with all the brazing brass exposed...is it brass or paint? Blasted and powdercoated? The A-9 HS is a nice added benefit, if it fits you: buy it.

Yes it's rite in around where I need I'm on a 55cm now and I need a bigger frame I'm 6ft so I think a 58 could be good. Yes I was told it was powder coated. If i do get it I might reprint it, maybe do a nice bit of work in the lugs like a different colour or something the colour is nice as it is tho.

I also like how close the Clarence is in the frame. The seller named it as a vintage time trial frame but dost have the track dropouts it looks more like a good road frame. It's really getting to me that I can't just google the name of it and see more examples. The more I look at it, it looks better to me
