Cloudy, Damp and mist in the air; but put on the rain jacket and gave it a go. Don't believe I every rode the bike 7 days in a row, now I can't stop. Just 15 miles tonight, bringing my month to 310 miles, 190 to go. 641 miles for the year. Thunderstorms in forecast for Monday, hope I can sneak in a ride.

Wasn't feeling very energetic today but got out there anyway for a solo 69 mile ride. Average speed was 12.2 mph. Wind on the last 10 miles back to the house kicked my butt. There's a pretty big hill the last mile before the house. Walked up that sucker. Didn't have anything left in my legs at that point.
Total for the month so far 1,429 miles and 50,437 ft of hill climbing.

Metric Century from JPL to Venice Beach, out-and-back. The conditions of the asphalt in Los Angeles city is absolutely horrible. Last week, the afternoon "talk show hosts" on a local radio station were really ragging on the conditions of the streets. Said that the works department is 60 years backlogged. I believe it!

I am going to set the goal @ 500 miles + 10% = 550 miles. As a bonus I would like to shoot for the 1000km May Strava Badge, but I might be over reaching if the weather doesn't cooperate. April miles were 305.
Also for each week in the month of May I am setting a weekly goal of 150 miles.
Weightloss goal of 10 pounds. Apr 30, 2013 weight 254

Weekly goal should of been knocked out this week, just life getting in the way but this week if weather cooperates should be the week i nail that damn goal. This saturday I did my first 50 mile ride with only 3.5 minutes stopped for traffic, but bonked hard the last 8 miles and ran out of H2o and light. Next up a metric!

Looks like I am in for 275 miles......LET'S DO THIS!
This is almost my month I am going to really kick start my weight loss. Already lost 13 lbs in the last 6 weeks, want to shoot to be down 25 overall by months end. I am seeing my doc next week so I will get the thumbs up on that as well from her.

9.4 miles today, puts me at 249.5km, out of a goal of 250km.
I really thought I would have the strava challenge completed today, so I'm kind of bummed. I would go out and bike .5km, but I've already showered. I'll knock it out friday.
