I find it amusing, as someone who drives a semi for 8+ hours a day in an urban environment in a cautious, conservative manner, such behavior is the norm. It would be a full time job to document each days events.

Ironically these events rarely turn into incidents. the real dangers are distracted drivers, and angry drivers trying to teach bad drivers a lesson.

You're performing a public service. You wrote the comment so the rest of us don't have to .

I have to sympathize with the OP. It IS irritating when a road user will not apply their brakes for even a fraction of a second, when doing so would be the courteous thing to do.

For instance, here is a video where it is the CYCLIST is exhibiting MGIF. If he would have tapped the brakes for two seconds, he could have let a vehicle safely complete a turn. Instead, he HAD to get in front of the car. Oh wait, this video is by the OP as well.

Kinda like that old saying,

Those who complain the loudest about others, are the ones who others complain the loudest about.

Yabba-dabba-DOO! That's it, pal! Thank you kindly, the part of my brain that Abbrs is getting worn out.

I see you still post more about your truck driving rather than cycling; while still deriding the cyclist in this forum.

So what? The OP never claimed they did. Does this mean it can't be posted? No one has to look at or comment on a video they find uneventful, boring or "the norm".

This forum sees what, maybe 2 or 3 on the bike videos by forum members a week? I like looking at all of them, even the uneventful ones.

Maybe we have a few angry readers who want to teach video posters a lesson!

Keep posting BB, or the bullies have won!

So buttons,
Unimportant comments about unimportant videos. Some can be educational in showing how to not be "that guy". I'm amazed how many "victim" videos are of people who are obviously pursuing Darwin awards regardless of mode.

That may be, but you and many others (including myself!) seem to love to comment on them, so I'd say they're good for the board. Absolutely entertaining or they wouldn't get the comments they do.

I'm constantly amazed at how many members will log on and post to a thread just to give it their stamp of disapproval! Don't they have more exciting things to do?

Oh well, I figure that's what makes this fun!

A special thanks to all who post on board video's, and those who post complaints of said video's. More please!

Do you see the OP "pursuing a Darwin Award" in the opening video? If so, please explain, because I don't.

I suppose if one wanted to continue with the threads theme of fretting over common non events, the OP did blow a stop sign, and appears to not be wearing a helmet.
Now I'm sometimes guilty of those imperfections myself, so I might be in a video, in a motorist forum thread about bad cyclists.

Scenario #1 is a car passing me in a parking lot when there was a stop sign 100' back, and another 100' ahead. He had such little room between me and the stop sign he couldn't get back in the proper lane before the stop.

Scenario #2 is a driver pulling out from a shopping plaza to a busy road while I have the right of way, potentially causing an accident by trapping me in a 45mph 6 lane intersection. I could have tapped on my brakes and had both of us stuck in that intersection, or continue forward like I did and at least get myself out of there.

They are not even close to the same situation, but nice try.
