I’m not directly familiar with the bikes you have mentioned - Is this your current bike (or similar) ?

And different types of bikes with different geometry. I do see a number of Liv bikes during my rides - including Liv gravel bikes like the bike pictured above. ( The Liv bike pictured above looks awesome btw ). It is possible the stem could be ‘flipped’ or another stem installed to change the position of the handlebar - this might agree with you better. Just a guess because I have little to go by. |

t2p, yes, I have the priority bike you have pictured and the liv bike I test rode looks like the bike you pictured. One of the reasons for the Liv bike is the lower gearing for hill climbing. But I don't want lower gears at the expense of being comfortable when I ride. Thank-you for your help!
Again - the bike / size has to be correct or at least ‘in the ballpark’ - including reach and stack. The desired handlebar height can then be set with a stem with the appropriate length / rise. A shop that specializes in bike fit can be a huge plus. |
I got out and rode today for 19.7 miles. I left the house at 7:30 am before the heat of the day and rode on the bike path.

Good chance the Liv bike - in the correct / proper size - can be comfortable. Not a guarantee though. But many are actually more comfortable riding a drop bar bike than a flat bar bike.

I got out for a little over 12 miles this morning.
With the heat we're having, I'd intended to ride only a couple of loops around the neighborhood, but as usual, got carried away. Today's ride put me over 176 miles for the month, and 809 miles for the year so far. |
Yesterday I repeated a ride I've done twice in the past month, a 70-mile ride on MUPs to Brighton, CO and back to Golden. It's unusually flat for around here, following what passes for waterways in CO, just 1000' of climbing on the way home. I led two other old guys from the non-profit bike shop (the eldest on an e-bike) and they were both impressed with the route. Light showers in the morning and favorable winds in the afternoon, also unusual for here.

Got in a nice mtb ride this morning.

I didn't know they cut a lot of the trees down. Felt so weird, I was losing my lines in a few downhill spots. lol Also nice to see one of my climbs from the other side. |

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...591bbec2bf.png Did some Urban exploring. |
I left the house this morning at 7:15 and rode for 20.6 miles. I took a side trip off the bike path for a few miles. That area doesn't get much traffic. I also stopped at a municipal building which is way better than using a porta-potty. I didn't realize that building opened so early. I learn something new everyday.

Did a "formal" bike shop ride last night, 21 miles down to the river. You'd have thought it was the week before July 4 and all kinds of people came out, 38 if I counted right! I rode with them a couple times last summer, but this was my first time this year. For being early July, it wasn't too hot. The ride took us through some shaded bike paths, and there was a breeze. All in all very pleasant.
One of the highlights, for me, were the people pointing out all the new "Beware of Alligators" signs down near the river. And of course the 3/4 mile of 2-3% downhill where I passed half the group without pedaling. (Gravity likes me best!) |
The wife and I got out for 14 miles around mid morning.
The weather was really unusual for this area this time of year. Overcast with a cool breeze. Temps were at least 10 degrees below normal. |

Was raining last night at my 10:30pm bedtime but 2 hours later I awoke to a clearing sky so prepped the bike and headed out to flooded areas and swales overflowing with frogs serenading the night away. Managed 25.52 miles and called it quits for that segment which was advantageous since it started to rain again. Grabbed some shut-eye and again awoke to a clearing sky so kitted up and headed out for another 18.92 miles to complete Ride #2 for 44.44 total miles 4 the 4th of July.
Blood work Monday to see what's up with my PCa (Prostate Cancer) then hopefully 75.75 miles on my 75th Birthday on the 10th. Have a safe and enjoyable 4th to YOU-ALL. |
53 miles 2,000’ at 16.6 MPH average with a wonderful group of 7 retirees, and wannabe retirees. Super paceliners.

I get in about 12 to 13 miles daily, usually in about 40 minutes. I'll do longer rides on the weekends 20-25 miles. We have some scenic routes so always a nice ride.

Needed some penance in the 93 degree heat. This is from the I-74 Bridge looking to the West. |
I took my bike over to my younger sister's house and we rode on the rail trail for 14.4 miles. We left her house about 7:15 am and the trail wasn't busy at that early hour. Plus the weather was still fairly cool so it was a nice ride.

Yes. 33 miles

Upstate ride. Except for the 1.5 miles on County Route 81, it was basically carless. We had perfect Hilltown summer weather, it was 65 F when I started and 80ish when I finished.

Yesterday's ride was more picturesque. Trying new loops starting from my house, now possible with Creo eBike. 14 miles/880ft, in 52mins.
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7d1152ee43.jpg Today, on my XC MTBike, at local park...7 miles/1000ft in 59mins. Perfect riding weekend for my mood. |
The wife and I rode 13 miles this morning.
Kinda like our last ride, cool, overcast, and breezy. Strange weather for this time of year. |
