4 more days until the reveal.

funny thing is, if no one had complained about this thread and simply posted nothing was known. It would have died.

lol.

On the car forum I frequent, if a car company made this claim, its discussion would not be "pointless".

So I'm missing something here.
Pointless is (or maybe isn’t) in the mind of the beholder.

Yes, you are missing something here. Pointless by how you posted it. I had no idea WTF your original post was about. It did not mention Trek, or bikes, or anything. Not that I really care about the latest marketing hype. The only reason I came back to this thread was it went to 5 pages and I'm like why are there 5 pages on a post with no content? The original post was worthless

If you read the original post all I asked is had this been revealed

In any other product-driven industry there would have been no need to explain that the image had come from one of the leading producers of product for the forums specialty.
The image in your OP had no indication of ANY industry, company, product etc. Could have been for any product, service, entertainment, - virtually anything from a concert tour to 5G antennas on the moon.

Hey, what is this announcement thingy?

Whose announcement is it?

Oh yeah, Trek, I guess that wasn’t clear.

No it wasn’t, but thanks for adding context.

Can someone please explain who “Trek” is? I’ve been cycling for 125 years and never heard of ‘em.

Is late June a common release window for new product?

Either that, or he can’t help it.

A rock band started in the 70s. They had a lead singer named Steve Perry that left. Or maybe a big, green ogre that lived in a swamp with a donkey sidekick.

The Trek I am interested in does not involve bikes, rather Vulcans and dancing green aliens.

Thanks for clearing that up. lol.

So late June is common ?

October GIE is when almost all new product is released for our businesses which has some logic behind it.

Speaking of ogres, are they those beings that live under a bridge and and collect tolls? For some reason, this thread made me think of those beings.

Sure- since the TDF starts late June/early July. Its a common time for some brands to release new equipment and bikes.
Other times are in the early spring at Sea Otter, mid-spring at Unbound, and at various trade shows around the world.

I directly answered your question. Now that you have no unanswered questions and you know nothing about your own thread's topic, stop posting. Give it a try, since you arent able to add anything to the discussion at this point.

There. That wasn’t so hard was it. Lol.

that’s good info and directly answers the question (almost) without insulting the poster.

well done.

no nothing to add, except curious to see what is released.

Inasmuch as you were incapable of sussing the answer yourself, you shouldn’t be loling, unless you’re loling at yourself. Just sayin’.

I did try to find out. Google said fall for bikes which makes sense and follows the pattern of other seasonal warm weather related products.
