Bikes: More than I have room for.
3 recalls so far. And yes, Duck Duck Jeep is a thing. One in 10 Wrangles are loaded up with ducks on the dashboard here. I'm in Rubi territory, the Jeep wave is tiresome, and some of these fanatics will literally tail you if you dont follow the wave protocol. Mavericks are a much more peaceful vehicle.
The bike commute wave issue is real. You leave a suburban home at the same time every morning, it's easy to get bogged down in waving etiquette.

I wonder when Mikey D will get banned yet again for trolling?

I never had that problem while commuting here in the suburbs for the past 19 years. Whatever cyclists I encounter during my commute, they just seem to mind their own business and ride on. Nobody feels obligated to wave or demands to have their waves returned. I think you're just imagining things.

That's not what your post suggested. You essentially wrote that you have never a problem because people don't wave.

Random cyclists are not the issue. On a commute, you generally see the same cyclists at or near the same spots daily. This leads to familiarity which soon spirals into a wave. If there are 15 plus of these encounters daily it disrupts the zen of a commute.

Hanging Jeep-branded e-bikes on Wranglers for fashion is also a thing. Not content with a 35" tire with a fancy rim, some have taken to hanging these monsters in front of the spare tire, I suspect more for looks than function.
Regardless, the wave situation has been brought to a satisfying conclusion. I have adjusted my commute route and no longer pass my committed waves. I ignore any new cyclists I encounter. Fool me once...

Jeeps, out performing the rest in JD Powers and Consumer reports 15 years running as the least reliable. Range Rover and Land Rovers also share the honors. Don’t know why people can’t do a little research before a major purchase and/or lease.
But it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand.

Clearly not appreciating the polite society that is Canada. He deserves to live in the US. I'll gladly trade with him.
I'd just do a quick nod.
I owned an affordable sports car in its early years of production, bought it used, so had missed whatever orientation is provided by the owners club that I had not joined, and in the first weeks, driving on two-lane early Sunday morning so light traffic, one of same came from the opposite direction and gave me a quick wave as they passed. I later learned this was common. It fit. This was a car that brought happiness, and low enough priced for the common person, no snobbery.
A polite wave or nod from a fellow bike commuter is positive on so many levels. Mutual respect. Acknowledgement of both doing your part for a better society, especially by not using petrol or diesel fuel at a time of rapidly increasing prices. Saving the world by reducing carbon output. And just plain friendliness. I envy Canada, now more than ever.
