I've ordered things from Nashbar, Jenson and Danscomp so far.. all 3 have shipped pretty fast with the cheapest possible shipping option.

I made a post in the MTB forums...I got out on em tonight and then walked in them at the mall to see how they felt. Besides having every single person staring at me with my shoes going *clop clop clop* they worked fine and were surprisingly more comfy than the first time I remember sticking my foot in them.

I don't sit around anymore unfortunately...I make pizzas and listen to a bi**h of a manager til I find another decent job and hit school in the fall. So til then I sweat in a 85 degreeish kitchen listening to this b*tch whine on about hurrying...yup. it sucks.

85 doesn't sound that bad, it was over 90 in the soup kitchen where I worked and the place was huge and ventilated.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!
I'm just going to say that a lot of my gear gets sent by boat to me in Australia, and I've waited up to 3 months. A few days or a week is no big deal.

I had a desk job til I was fired for missing the same meeting cryogenic missed, yet he's still employed...so they had it in for me. Ha. Anyways...the heat is tolerable, but I dislike it. I am currently seeking another desk job...

I still buy some things from the LBS...that are closely pricematched...but are you kidding me...100 dollars for pedals I got for 50 online? I just can't do that...it's not even wise shopping.

Matching prices on many items isn't a luxury your LBS can afford-selling items at or below cost isn't an effective business model.

Well this thread has gone were threads of a similar topic always go but...Nashbar is what it is. If you choose their base shipping (this goes for Performace and Supergo too) you get what they pick from USPS, UPS ground or FedEx ground. Typically you also get to wait a few days for them to ship the item. But what you never get at the LBS are things like I ordered this weekend. Pair of MTB shoes that retails for $129 for $39 and an $80 saddle that is blemished for $10. Top it off with a 10% discount and the price can't even remotely be challanged by the LBS.
