Titus Racer X (2004) all decals removed. I really love this bike. Much lighter than my previous Rocky Mountain Element (2000). Handles really well.

It is, but I'm afraid I'll end up with a worthless HiFi, so I'm not going to bother, build the dmr up with the parts from the fisher and I'm going to just get a complete bike come fall, so I'll have two bikes.

I mean couldn't you just send the swing arm by its self back? I'm riding with Fisher himself next sunday. I could ask him =]

Why don't you send it back and sell the Hifi?

I'm just not, and I have a feeling, the warranty wouldn't get honored.

New bike. I had originally posted here a while ago looking for advice on AM bikes, though it was more for a plush ride than for actually needing all that travel. After trying out some bikes, I realized that I was too short to have any real standover on any AM bikes, and while, yes, I know standover is somewhat overrated, I still like to be able to stand over the bike without sitting on the top tube. I looked at some 4-5 inch travel bikes, and absolutely fell in love with the AS-R. (Note: Never demo a bike that's more than you originally planned to pay. You'll find the extra money and eat cheap for a couple weeks.) I also realized the reason I thought I needed all that travel was because my hardtail's fork 1) is a fairly low quality fork, 2) has springs that are way too heavy for me, and 3) needs a rebuild. Yeti had a few leftover 2007 frames that they were discounting, but the rest of the kit is all 2008 (other than an X.0 shifter and X.9 RD).

Sweet looking ride Mr. Smashy. What is with the silver wall on the rear tire? I can see that they are Kenda's but cannot tell which model.

Was talked into warrantying it, so we'll find out what I get, if it's another possum, I'll build it up, if it's a HiFi, I'm selling it.

Well, good news is that they are sending me a new swingarm and that the dent is in a non stress bearing location. Will just have to use the hardtail for a couple of weeks.
