I've been trying to convince gastro to come out to Bromont for a road trip but he's shunning me probably for the TGMBG. What I did learn from him was that in early August the World Cup will be coming to Bromont and I'll try to make it out for the 4X and DH finals on the Saturday.

Say, if the Masters Worlds ever come back to Mont-Sainte-Anne, I'm in! That's an event like no other.

I want to go for a ride, but it's raining :(
Hopefully it will stop and leave me with some fun, fun mud :D |
Last night I dreamt that I could wheelie.

Paddle boats can be a real sufferfest when you have to pedal the boat by yourself, let alone 3 miles of it. Right now I am about as sore as I was when I crashed in May.

Man Robert, you even made the spectators look fast!

Love that pic of Braggi!

It feels awesome to be sprinting down a hill and notice that you're pacing cars that are doing 60mph =]]
|
That first one is *crazy,* nice work.

Hey D, I hope you dont mind, but on a certain local MTB forum there's a long running thread entitled "Beautiful bikes - post them here". I threw up this photo of your Blindside:
http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...1/IMG_0893.jpg To a warming reception. Someone asked if it was a BOS fork  . |

Pretty slick setup there.
Are you going to find time to hammer out some loops at Tsali? |
Yeah,Hambone and I are leading a group ride there on Saturday. I'm not too excited about it, I think we're gonna try to run shuttles on Turkey Chute Friday evening.

I spent $140 at the bike shop last night
Oneal Full-finger gloves, RJay's [Aussie brand I believe] Helmet, Tri-flow Oil and some brake pads. I know the guy at the bike shop because of my regular visits, and I'm doing work experience there in September, so he hooked me up with all the top quality things :D |
I was organizing my Sunday morning ride with my buddy and he wanted to ride road. I kept pushing for mountain but it turns out he had lent his mountain bike to his father-in-law.
We ended up doing laps at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve (Montreal's Formula 1 track) for about 2 hours. The track is set up for cyclists and rollerbladers and since it is a racetrack that means there are no cross streets to deal so it was a nice steady ride. I would have preferred hitting the dirt but it was a nice easy way to spend Sunday morning chewing the fat with my buddy while riding along. |
Goddamit.
I replaced my brake pads the other day, then gave my bike a good lube. Tri-flow on the chain, all the cables etc. I put a few drops around where my crank goes in to the bottom bracket, and now it's making creaking and clunking noises.. |
