Too tired for a real ride today from cyclocross last night. Played Ultimate Frisbee on bikes instead.

Detailed my bike today after a long ride. Busted out the detail brushes and everything, cleaned it all up. It deserved it. She was good to me today.

I love to go a-wandering
Along the mountain path
And as I go I laugh and sing
My knapsack on my back!

Boh.

Was going to go riding with a friend yesterday...

His house is about a 5 minute ride from mine along the bike track, so I told him I would meet him on the track.

Anyway, I'm waiting, and I see him running towards me pushing his bike.

Turns out he underestimated a corner, went too fast, braked too hard and crashed into a fence...Buckled his rear wheel and needed his mum to come pick him up

The Girlscout is bummed. He finished one second off the podium at the State Championships. There was a lot of questions about the timing. It involved a pocketwatch and a cellphone.

I ended up ordering the strawberry gazpacho, the foie gras terrine on caramelized onions, the salmon tartar and the serrano ham/cheese stuffed fig as appetizers. They're served like tappas.

For my main course I ordered the fish of the day, which was a pan-seared arctic char on mashed potatoes with a cherry tomato/cucumber salsa drizzled on it. It was absolutely delicious and I am definitely going back.

Yah know...I think you should suggest they buy those little 10 mile radios that are so cheap now days. Much less time lag there. How do they do the "big" races?

I didn't come last at the states. Sorry you guys didn't get a big ride report like you did the last race, i've been busy. I guess its kinda too late now considering it was the 5th

PUSH do Fox and selected RS, but I'm looking for somewhere similiar that would do Manitou, along with replace the rebound adjuster assembly - i snapped it. The Australian importer was changed a couple of weeks ago and haven't received parts yet (They don't know when they will either) and the old importer is all out, so it could be a while before i get my shock fixed and i thought it might be easier to send it OS even. Ugh, so confused. Maybe i should use this as an oppurtunity to buy a new shock? Then again, why bother when I want a new frame and fork. Rahhhh so many decisions.

If your asking what pads those are, they look to be Shimano.

My local State Champs!

The jump at the start is, as per usual, hugererererer in real life. It was my nemesis for the race and I'm proud to say i overcleared and flatlanded it.
