I have a friend who has an amazing humorus way of seeing the world and putting it down in writing. Here's a couple of things put up on my FB account......

"And on the eighth day God created aluminum, rubber and spokes. God then said to the human that God made, 'Go forth, conquer every obstacle in nature with these spokes.' The human said ' That's a bit dangerous isn't?' God said, 'See I am removing all natural sense of caution about jumping off over wet rocks and the like.' When the human awoke from a deep sleep there was a perfectly formed Mtn Bike created from the human's natural good sense that had been removed. The human spoke and said, 'It' all butta'. I 'm soooo stoked.' And it was so."

Wow!! Finally, proof positive of the veracity of that old legend about the lost tribe of surfers who wandered into the Southern Appalachian mountains and never left. They were rumored to have intermarried with the indigenous population. Until now, the only sign of their existence was a cryptic message carved on a tree. It read, "It's all butta' bra'." Clearly, we now can make a case from linguistic analysis that they merely added wheels to their boards and adapted their surfer lifestyle to the local terrain.

I also scored some new tires on Ebay. I'm counting on the same dryer than normal conditions this year.

Well this sucks. I broke my small toe on my left foot and it's purple and swolen. It kinda looks like I've got two big toes on that foot. The westher is gonna be nice this week and I've got new rubber for the bikes on the way. There is no way I'm pedaling anything for a week or two.........grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I got the new skinz on the bike today. Kenda Nevs DTC 2.1/2.3 tubeless setup.
I'll ride them this year and see if they are everything I read that they are.

Tight enought that the front aired up like a tubeless tire.

The rear one was a little stubborn, but I got's my ways. Had em both aired up in under 15 minutes!
That's as good as it gets when you run standard rubber on a tubeless setup.
Big meat on the front still brings the bke in a 27lbs. That's exactly what it weighed when I brought it home, with the weight weenie xc tires.

So, apparently riding at the local wheel factory is a no-no. Or so the officer says. Maybe more on that later.

Yeah, I got the audio from when we were told to leave. I might include it in a little vid, but its hard to hear. But that was probably one of the most awkwardly funny moments of my life. Officer: "Can I see your ID?" Me:"Yes, Ma'am. H. . . Woopwoopwoopwoop. I'm a doctor. Give it to me straight professor, is it finn rot? Arggggggg." Yup. My phone went off. I think I need to change my Doctor Zoidberg ring tone.

There's two bikes planned for this year. The one you know is the Exalt, the other one is going to be more of a cafe racer fixed gear with panniers, front fender that I plan on using for a cross the country ride next summer.

Bikes: 2010 Giant Filter 1. 07/08 Apollo Independent.

My derailleur hanger still hasn't come in yet

I haven't ridden my bike in 4 weeks, and I ordered my hanger 3 weeks ago

I'M HAVING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS!

I went outside on Sunday and re-greased my pedal threads for no reason..
