^^ I just had to find that one out yesterday from another mod. If this version is a supposed to be"improved," surely there's a way to add the "Last Page" link that previous versions had.

Believe me, there is a lot of rumbling about VBulletin 4, not just from the rank and file.

craigcraigcraig 12-01-09 11:05 AM

the last page button was one of the best things about the forum before the switch. Another was the drop down thing at the bottom that had all of the different forums for easy switching. Not really a big deal though.

Rode the HT with the All Mtn1 for the first time today. It sucked on the Enduro but it rawks on the HT. ETA takes it down to al little under 3 incher for climbing and gravel roads and when I get ready to decend, flip the switch and 6" fun HT. I wish I would have made change a long time ago. My Nixon feels better becuse of the rebuild from Sus.Ex. I'm also digging the new job that allows me to ride every morning.........I'm off to work now.

MindlessDeviant 12-02-09 08:30 PM

Put in another 14 hour shift today at work Im on day 3 of the week and already at 40 hours woohoo! Im working 9am to 12am tomorrow ugh. I cant wait for all this to be over and for me to move. Also cant wait until Christmas day so I can have a day off. Oh and not to mention it freakin snowed today in Dallas WTF the truck drivers were laughing because we got our first snow before them and they are from Iowa

Dannihilator 12-02-09 08:35 PM

You arent lying! I feel like a walking zombie because I dont rest after work I am also packing and getting everything ready to move to Seattle. My next day off is actually Christmas and then the next one after that is the day I leave work which is the 15th of Jan. I feel like I have a day off if I only work an 8 hour shift anymore. Although all this overtime is going to be great when it comes time to move, 40 hours of OT a week is excellent!!

craigcraigcraig 12-03-09 10:43 AM

it is supposed to snow down here in south austin tomorrow afternoon. I can't ever remember it snowing in Texas during the day. Will be a good day for sure.

mtnbiker66 12-03-09 11:29 AM

I took a new evening job at the rescue mission in town. That leaves me these nice days to ride.......it's all working out well

I guess I'm stuck spinning my road bike on rollers indoors until it improves. The kicker? The wreck when I twisted it was my first time out on my new bike... and I have this whole week off from work in hopes of getting in a lot of riding.

Its some kind of cosmic cruel joke. I always "initiate" my new stuff.

This is directed for 66, should you stumble across it.

As an owner of a hardrock with 140mm travel.. how does it climb? I mean, my last experience sucked, but I never even got it off road with that fork. Mine is a '99..

mzeffex 12-23-09 10:21 PM

Mr. UPS brought something today...

^^ Very good; hope it works well for you. Culmination of a well-researched purchase.

Oh, and I just love it when people advertise companies for free :bang:.

for free? Mz is paying them to advertise for them.

I want one of those so bad. Sooner or later my bike is going to become a 1x8, I never use anything but the middle ring anyway.

I really need to quit shopping for bike parts. I want to replace this crappy squishy fork that came stock on my GF since I bottom it out every ride and it really feels no different no matter how I adjust it. While looking of course I want something like a Domain or Pike to put on it and keep it turned down to around 100mm to not throw off the geo but I fell in love with the Sette Flite, not the best FS bike out there but probably a good beginner FS and a step up from my GF HT

mzeffex 01-07-10 08:28 PM

@Dminor - so far I have put a fair amount of miles on it. No chainslap at all, and I have not had the chain fall off or bounce around at all which is great. Now I have an XT front derailleur and SLX chainrings sittin around.

@craigx3 - Correct.

@MindlessDeviant - It's pretty cool to have, though I wish I knew the price jumped 30 bucks before it was ordered. Ah well. I'm going to get a new fork too, probably a pike.

@Dminor again - is your signature actually your truck or something computer done?

It's mine. '79 F-150 shortbox 4WD. Was my late Dad's; I've passed it down to my son but I'm storing it for him and drive it to keep it limbered up. Has a 351 Windsor with headers and a mild cam and it likes to get out and breathe occasionally ;).

mzeffex 01-08-10 07:33 AM

Sweet!

How many front tires has it worn through?

dminor 01-08-10 01:59 PM

^^ Can't say really - - I haven't put that many miles on it in the last 5 years. I swapped out the tires it had onto a Toyota pickup I sold off and put my nice, aggressive 31x10.5s on it.

mzeffex 01-08-10 11:07 PM

I had the most epic crash today..

On the cross bike, going about 20 on the road, didn't see the black ice..

Suddenly im on the ground and went a good 20 feet. Didn't hurt then. Broke an end plug in half and tore the saddle, but for some reason, I'm not angry.

Leg's bruised like crazy though since I never let go of the bars, just went sideways on smoothish ice.

I asked because because for the longest stretch until 1998 the front end assembly's on the ford pickups were hard on tires.
