The bottom line is that it's not about what someone rides, but how they can ride. To get back to the Pinto/Yugo analogy, you could be a sh|tty driver in either car, or you could be Jackie Stewart and be able to out drive 99% of the rest of the folks out there...
Now it's time to unbunch those panties!

With your analogy on that , there is alot of people around that will make thou look like crap on the bike.
Judge & thou shall be judged.

If someone is having fun, more power to them. There is always someone who is a better rider...
p.s. Why is stating a fact about a bike "picking on peoples(sic) bikes"?

LETS JUST SAY I LOVE YOU ALL. I LOVE ALL YOUR MT BIKES. I LOVE ALL OF OUR SILLY GRAMMAR AND NIT PICKING. IM SORRY FOR THE FECE STORM. MY BIKE SUCKS BUT I HAVE FUN RIDING IT. IF I HAD MONEY I WOULD BUY A NEW ONE. COMPARING MY BIKE TO AN XMART BIKE IS STUPID BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT COMPONENTS I RUN(NOT REALLY TO GREAT THOUGH) SO YOU DON'T KNOW WHOSE BIKE RUNS BETTER.
So guys I'm thinking about test riding a rockhopper pro disc from the mikes bikes in sf any comments on the bikes quality?

Your fork could benefit from some Mag 21 dust wipers, and the quadra 5 was only spec'd for 46mm of travel, and by looking at the clean areas on the upper tubes, it's only getting 25-30mm. That's about normal for those forks.
Your computer wire should be routed along the front brake housing, and down the fork brace to the leg.
Oh, and I almost forgot -- that frame was made in the good 'ol Waterloo factory with more care and precision than 99% of the junk coming out of China these days -- wear it well.

Thanks man, I had to do a lot of fast talking for the wife to let me pull the trigger on it....
I'd love to have an ASX too, but I just don't need that burly of a bike.Dean

2000 Diamondback Response

After not for quite some time, I am looking to get back into riding as it warms up. Assuming I take to it, is this bike/frame worth upgrading, or would I be better off going with a new rig? I would be into trail riding and some road riding, not jumping/tricks.
