Bikes: Rivendell Atlantis, Cannondale Crit bike, Bianchi Incline, and soon, a Kona Kula Deluxe. Oh, and a Lemond Buenos Aires frame, and a Bridgestone MB3 frame, both awaiting some sort of build-up.

Here's my new ride. Picked it up today. 2006 Kona Kula Deluxe. My first real mountain bike.

The paint on the 06 Kula Deluxe is something special. The orange and cream white really go well together -- much cooler in person than in the pictures.

I'm more interested in the rack than the bike; is it secure? It looks like the rear wheel could easily slip out of the channel on a large bump or a big pothole!

Bikes: many

idk what brand this bike it, but this bike was flooded that i rebuilt(hurricane katrina). All the bearings have been rebuilt, i cleaned it up and now it's my trail/mud rider.Oh and in the pic it's dity because i came back from a trail a few hours ago and to lazy to wash it. I have a friction shifter for the rear deraullier, i tend to like them so i can align the chain better. But better deraullier and shifters coming in the near future as well as tires

There is also a velcro strap which holds the back wheel in place. It wasn't in the pic.

I agree - didn't want to upgrade it until the old one died though...And last week I realized I killed it - bent stanchions. After looking around, I got one hell of a deal that any sane person couldn't refuse on a new one...in fact it left the folks in Watsonville on Thursday...gotta love the LBS hook-up.

I still have some tweaking to do with the setup, but it went for a ride this afternoon. Smooth, stiff, plush, couldn't ask for more.

Now, it's happy and dusty...

This makes 4 konas and 1 pseudo-kona in the house.

Also, six kona forks.
