Bikes: too damn many
80's specialized hard rock cruz, w/ diamond back rigid fork
im kinda upset that im the only one to post a pic of their ride who doesnt have a big fat boinger up front (w/ the exception of the bianchi cyclocross)....seriously ya'll, a suspension fork is not a necessity!!
but anyhoo-- this is a pretty custom ride. it has a 1" threadless setup....i got a long steerer tubed old 1" threaded fork, and cut off the threads. it actually has a real 1" threadless stem, not a 1-1/8" w/ shim.
i removed all unnecessary brazed on stuff from the fork like fender mounts, cantilever bridge, and the unused cable stops. so come on everyone, go retro!!! MTB forefathers could do it in the 80s, YOU can do it now!!!
single speed--one is all you need

CHI - yes it is. I've only had it a week so no paint problems yet. I rode the trail last weekend. It didn't get too dirty, just really dusty and sandy. I'm riding again tomorrow. I normally don't choose light colors in anything, but I liked the way it looked over the blue one and I wanted do something different than my norm. I bought this bike with full intention to ride it pretty hard so if the paint chips\fades etc, I'm not too concerned. I'd rather have it look like crap after riding it hard than have it look pristine by not riding hard enough.

Yeah, I know what you mean ... I try to keep my purple Trek a little dirty myself.
wish it was white though .... either that or taxicab yellow.

Long time eh...yeah, been at college learning the law and soon to be making the streets a safer place (he hopes).
It means I haven't been here a while, and neither out on the bike, but I'm changing that this week, and finally going to get my wife out on the bike too (woo hoo!).
How's tricks with you...still riding your Stinky?
Take it easy mate...will be back a bit more often now

got a few of 'em, planning to get rid of most of them :
this is the bike that's seen the most use, and that i'm hanging on to :
it's served me well for over a decade now. old kona explosif frame with random parts hung on it.

i bought this about a year ago, but it's just not working out for me. it's nice enough, but just not my style. i've been trying to find a local buyer for it for a week or so now.

and this is the oddest one : 24" wheels, cantilever brakes, 3-speed hub with a coaster break, and of course the tiny frame. i'm going to miss it, but i think i've found a good home for it.

Here's my lowly rig; a 2002 Rocky Mountain Fusion (although my fork is a bit better than this one from the RM webpage). Still can't decide whether to build it up or trade up for a different bike.

Here is my current ride!
