No the tubes are just super heavy when full, and I said almost 40lbs . I think I'll weigh it tomorrow.

That depends on what you're using it for.

Well a cement filled tube performs quite well for smacking wiseguys upside the head.

Especially if you let it dry first

Bikes: 1999 Seven Sola, 2004 Bianchi Axis, 2005 Trek Madone 5.2 SL, 2006 Merlin Works CR 3/2.5, 2009 Kona Ute, Spot Acme, 2017 Raleigh Roker Comp, 2016 Specialized Camber Expert 29

Seven Sola frame from 1999. I still love the ride of the custom TI frame. Updates I've made over the years are the RockShox SID SL (bent steerer tube of Manitou fork after a crash), Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 (Kenda Klimax Lites are great for racing, but wanted a little more cushion), Salsa QRs, and Bontrager front wheel (lost my Chris King hubbed front wheel off the top of my car driving down to Sea Otter a few years ago). XTR still works well after a lot of abuse.

Heres my baby with some better shots of it.

I upgraded the stem because the stock one is just so bulky and heavy. I put a kona one on there and i scratched it already from a bad loop out on pavement.

Enjoy!

Just got back from my first ride on it:

'04 Haro X2 (which I purchased on Ebay for an awesome price!)

It's completely stock for now. Only thing I've changed thus far are the grips, put on ODI Rogues w/ Lock Jaw clamps (& a warning to anybody buying the red ones, there's no way they're red, more like Magenta! )
