Took it for the first ride with the XT stuff the other day. Still needed a bit of fine tuning, but I am very happy with my upgrades

Rocky Mountain Element Race

Snagged it off craigslist. I just need to put my other saddle on it when i get home but I got a pro tune up and some pretty sweet cables put on it from my LBS.

Like a Dream it ride.

This is 'Hop' before she got her reflectors removed. She took 2nd in her first race - a MTB TT event missing first by 5 seconds despite a crash. I think we're going to be good, good friends. Sorry Hop, I will apologize now for what I am going to do to you. You're going to live a life of abuse.

My new 2011 Scott Spark 30. Picked it up this past Monday. Finally got to ride this Saturday. I kept to the paved trials around where I live. I wanted to do a shake down run and make sure everything was OK. I really love the lock out on this bike. Definitely the best of both worlds. Nice and plush wide open and firm and responsive lock in. A couple more "easy rides" and hopefully by then the trails will have dried up some. Really looking forward to that.

Raleigh Mojave 2.0

This is my Raleigh Mojave. My roommate recently gave me this bike for free and naturally i took it apart and rebuilt it into my winter/ entry level mountain bike. I have never owned a mountain bike before so this is very exciting for me. It is all stock with an exception to the rear tire and the rear wheel.

Feel free to visit my cycling blog, https://lovetocycle.wordpress.com/201...winter-riding/ to read more about my new mountain bike!

Did you buy your crosscheck stock? if so do you notice is flexing under braking using those brakes? I'm looking for a better braking solution.

Long-time lurker here! Sadly I've only been able to put about 30 miles on this so far. Just swapped out the BB+cranks, pedals and grips: AKA single, eggbeaters and ODI ruffians. (Anyone else hate Ourys?) Now to ride and ride and ride....

That bike changes appearance weekly. But it always looks awesome.
