I want to try Amy Ruth's:

Anybody been? Are there outdoor tables where we can see our bikes? And if so, any interest in a night ride, or maybe post-CP-moonlight?

Amy Ruth's is delish! I haven't been there in a while and when I was there it wasn't spring/summer, so I'm not sure if there are outside tables... I would call and check.

I was thinking about doing the next CP moonlight ride because I've never done it before. I'd be down...

Yeah, it's looking pretty bad right now but the forecast I saw this afternoon said that the rain should tamper off by 9 PM... So maybe we have a chance?

Cancelled.

Rain is driving me nuts. Hopefully the roads will have dried out enough to squeeze a dawn ride in.

I'm supposed to do a ride with some people tomorrow starting & ending at Central Park south, starts at noon, 25 miles, if anyone is interested.

I might be interested. 25 miles through where? Or just going around the loop in CP for 25 miles? And what's the pace going to be like?

I don't want to burn myself out before the TdB...

No- no burn out...it should be a total pootle-fest (eat bon bons while riding, kick back and steer with your feet, that sort of thing)

I'm not thrilled with the route but I was just tagging along with my friend, who got roped into riding with someone who is just getting into riding. It's gonna go Manhattan - QBB - Queens - Brooklyn - WBB - Manhattan...Here tis:

hey all
i just joined this forum... im looking for a group ride/ ride partner in brooklyn.
because of my work schedule (i work straight from friday afternoon to sunday nights, apart from other crazy hours) i miss almost all the rides i find posted online

it seems like some of the rides you guys discussed on here could work for me, so ill be keeping an eye out

for the record, i am up for weekday rides that get me back home at about five and rides that start after 9:30 (again, strange work hours) excepting most tuesday nights (hockey)

hey Air have you guys been meeting up lately? I'm trying to get some riding in before the MS tour and I'm getting kind of bored riding alone.
