Coney Island is a good for me. It is only two miles from my house. I should ride to the city and then ride back with you guys.

Hey Avatar!!

steve - so are you good for next Wednesday?

Also, there's a fun and easy night ride through Central Park this Friday - 10Pm meet at Columbus Circle, over around midnight. I'll probably have a little extra in my Gatorade bottles.

In CP or for Coney Island? Neither on either the way I've gone. There is a stretch where you have to be alert to the road because it can be a little chewed but nothing unmanageable.

I think I might be able to do it Wednesday. I have a speaking gig at Javits all day Wednesday and may be delayed though. If this client asks me for dinner I'll have to go. I guess Thursday is out, right Air?

You should see when slvoid and I do the CP ride. The ride leader makes us both go ahead of her in the ultra-dark spots to light everyone else's way.

Ha! I just went out to Coney Island, there is about a half a mile where the promenade has a lot of cracks in it. Actually - when we were down by the LES I didn't hit one crack, must have been the lights

Let's shoot for Wednesday and see how the weather is. I'd like to take a ride once a week or so - the beach was awesome yesterday but the headwind killed me, still feeling it. 30 minutes from the start of the promenade to the end, 10 mins back. I *may* be able to do Thursday but let's shoot for Wednesday and if you can't make it we'll go on Thursday too. Now that I have a good wheel I want to ride the hell out of it!

U guys doing the Century on Sunday? Looks like I'm marshaling the 75 route.

Sweet! Not going to do PP because of the ride on Sunday though I do really enjoy it. Who knows, maybe I'll go and just pay for it anyway

Awesome...you guys had a great time, eh? I'm enjoying a Kuba Kuba cigar and a beer right now out west; about all I can afford after spending the rest of my $ to attempt a finish to the Merlin. Can we do the NYC ride Wed instead of the Coney Island one? I promise I'll find worthy hot dogs

Thanks for pushing me a few more miles than I would have done. I had a great time. My mind was willing, but my muscles weren't having it. Can't wait to see you and the others again.

P.S. Those times-up riders are great!! I seem to have an awesome time every time I ride with them.

How about a larger half loop and wind up back where we were the last time. 20 miles, 3 hills, then back to Chelsea Brewing? I like that place! I promise I'll be ready by 7:30 this time!!

P.S. Those times-up riders are great!! I seem to have an awesome time every time I ride with them.
