in my defence, i was thinking about the Egypt unfolding revolution and the walk like an egyptian song popped into my mind but i couldn't remember how it went.

look I don't know why SHE is doing intervals, I was just pointing out why they are done. SHE just needs lots of miles, lots of time in the pool and lots of miles on the road.

i worked with a guy who did a decent time at the london marathon. it was his first marathon at the time. he ran a half marathon 3 times a week after work about 6 months before the event.

I have to agree with coasting. I never see a jogger with a happy face. Course, when I was running, it was either jet as fast as possible, or try on some new bracelets. I sincerely doubt I had a happy face either.
