It's been raining here all day yesterday and today; a truly miserable start to the week compared to the tease we had over the weekend. I don't think we're going to get any wintery weather though

Getting two new bikes. When they get here, I'm going to have sex with them.

That's crazy. Our temperature swings typically aren't as extreme here as on the plains. Sometimes moderating air currents from the Gulf of Mexico help.

Razor, I saw some workers protesting across the street from a business today. If management makes you report for duty in the snow, you should protest. You don't need to wave a sign, you can set one up in front of you and sit in a lawn chair.

Just finished a painful trainer workout, at least painful to me. 4-6x6 minute threshold intervals (258-299 watts) with two minute recoveries. I only managed to do five intervals, didn't have the sixth one in me.

Average wattage for the intervals were 288, 290, 288, 284, 282

Ab Circle Pro, I laughed when my wife bought it. I just spent 15 minutes on it. Not laughing now.

I think I am gonna put the Cervelo in the trainer, and watch "Half Baked", and pack in some base time. The BB in my Trek was feeling kinda gritty this morning on the 1hr TT run. Time to order a Chris King BB for it too. The nice thing about Chris King BBs, you never have to think about replacing them, ever.

Rest day here.

Bff came over to take me out, but I changed the plans to pizza, a Redbox, and the couch.

My old 1991 Subie wagon had four snow tires. It went through 18" snow so well that I could push other cars that were stuck.

These friggen' idiots can't drive for crap around here when there is a little ice on the road. Meanwhile I am going 45mph sideways everywhere, having a blast in my 2wd F-150.

Sounds good. Especially, on a snowy night.
