IN the fine print I could not find where they talk about chains, but the do specifically include cassettes (which could make it worth it if you get one a year), but not brake pads.
as soon as you change one part, this part ain't covered anymore.
+ look, your ex bike is full 105 now. and by full, I mean... FULL.

no tektro! no r600 more fun
and don't mind the computer. It was a test.

I simply have deep hatred for Shimano. Too many times has a skipped chain bucked me off of a bicycle in the middle of a steep hillclimb on a Shimano equipped bike. Since I've switched to Sram this problem has gone away. This has been on both MTB's and road bikes. I can also no longer operate a bike with anything other than Sram at this point or I want to chuck it in front of traffic after 5 min of riding. Not to mention Sram looks better, unless your old and your eyes don't function properly like PCAD.
I'm also obviously not displaying elitism in anyway, your confused. There is no Campagnolo on any of my bicycles. As much as I would like it, it's just too stupid for even me. I do covet Campy, I just won't let myself ever try it.

You just need some camo bartape to finish it off.

Did anyone watch Watson on Jeopardy? I caught a few minutes of him yesterday but missed today (volleyball). It appears he's kicking butt.
I think there's something to this artificial intelligence thing. I say we set up a few computers as posters on this site.

was really surprised too by how awesome the crank is, but I failed at camo bartaping it. I got some fizik tape... Sorry all.

If we set up Watson on here it'd find a way to hack some missiles right onto various poster's abodes.
I think it'd be a bad idea to unleash that kind of AI onto the internets.

So in addition to socks we may have non-human members here? That's an added degree of difficulty in sorting out, though it would explain some of the characters in P&R.

Nice build. Enjoy! You should probably powdercoat or rattle can it, though. You know...

That's cool dude. It sounds like you are more of a fanboy than elitist. Makes no difference to me; both are silly. Your personal experience does not represent a majority. If you prefer SRAM over Shimano because problems you've had in the past that's cool. But when you exude preference as superiority, it becomes fanboyish.

My strategy is to render any shifting issues moot by never shifting. I still have a ways to go to achieve that.
When I'll be over with school I'll work my butt off to move to another country where it's hot more than 3-4 months per year...
