Pyze-guy, I hope you found that little something-something I left you, the wheel is exactly what I needed, thanks!
32flavs, good to chat with you again, I will pop around sometime with my friend to check out those bikes, thanks.

Nice to chat with you too! Soon that beautiful Gardin frame will be rebuilt as a coaster brake bike.

From the SSFG forum:
Obviously he meant aesthetic, but I like it.. sounds like a good slogan (my new sig, maybe?)
Fixed gear: It's purely ascetic.

Heh, actually- I'm rebuilding a tiny 44 cm Gardin that Jet sold to me awhile ago. I first built it up as a fixie, and then sold the rear wheel to my friend, and now I'm going to rebuild it with a coaster brake. Should be sah-weet.

anyone out and about tonight? I wouldn't mind going for a spin and maybe an iced coffee/tea once it cools down a bit.. assuming that it doesn't start to rain.

No, no, do it fixed -- you'll be fine.
I've done it two years fixed. Just watch the first descent off the Gardiner northbound. Other than that, it's a toddle.

I thought I saw your bike parked outside of the Chapters @ Richmond and John. It was a tall Urbanite with a Brooks saddle, drops with red bar tape... But it had clips and straps. Are you rockin' clips and straps?

a) neither of my brooks saddles have ever been on my urbanite
b) I haven't had red bar tape in over a year, and currently I'm rocking my flat bars
c) nope.. still going clipless

You will not regret it. Take lots of water and try not to embaress any OCP's.
