A poor mans Nestor bike. That "tensioner" looks like it would fold with the first hard effort.

i don't see how it costs and more to run the 75km route considering it's just and extra loop of the dvp from bloor to york mills. and yes, it's the best way to stay away from the mass of fair-weather cyclists. start at 6am and ride with the usual doughnut crowd. you should be done in two hours.

Yes I have a 16 Dur-Ah-Awt-Say cog...$30. H.S. is still working loose on ya? Bring it by for a look-see. I think 1 1mm spacer in yer H.S. will be in order.

Anyone on this forum who's paying municipal taxes, and I think most everyone does whether you rent or own, should ask the question of whether they're getting fair value for their tax dollar out of the Don valley parkway. If not, and I know I don't, I'd say go ahead and ride it for free.

There are people eating doungnuts of the ride? Awesome. I doubt I'll be done 75 km in 2 hours, more like 3 1/2, especially with all those doungnuts.

Oh yeah...if someone tries to give you a hard time about it just look at them quizically and start babbling in some weird foreign language.
"excuse me sir/madame...you must have pledges to participate in this ride"
"Mein katz hast Zvie austpoofen!"
"O.k...we will let you go this time but remember next time"
"Tierra del Fuego!"
