Mike's old Paké frame...The left crank arm is a Peugeot one, the hunt begins. • My girlfriend drives a compact car because it's not feasable for her to do what she needs to do without a car. • Some guy drives a huge, excessive, gas guzzling monster because he "likes it" and doesn't give a **** about who has to pay the price. The two are not one in the same. I don't think that "no one should drive" because that's not realistic but I do think that people should drive responsibly and given that there are direct consequences of other people's irresponsibility for everyone else (especially for those who are dying for that scumbag's excess) then I don't really have a problem with someone else putting them in check. Sorry, I just don't. By your logic - why not blow up General Motors? Get evil at it's source. |

I just heard on the news that Mayor David Miller is closing down the Don Mills Subway line (which was just finished a few years ago) along with other bus lines....get ready to see a whole lot more Hummers on the road

To be clear - this is not "my logic" in the sense that I don't go around blowing anything up or smashing anyone's cars... What I'm saying is that I understand why someone would want to smash a Hummer or, as you suggest, blow up General Motors.
What stuns me that you are okay someone else doing it. This guy didn't deserve to be kept "in check". It's like saying your understand how a woman wearing revelaing clothing deserved **** as she's made some pervert scum bag horny. I'm not fan of the hummer either, or the drivers of said vehicles, I loathe them, but at the end of they day trashing his vehicle is wrong. There are no just deserts here. These punks who trashed it probably don't even ride bikes rather their mothers lexus but we won't find out for sure until they are apprehended by the fuzz. |

I have a pair of cutoff Chlorophylle mountain pants that I've had longer, but they show the wear much more than my UTW's. The Chlorophylles are pretty rock solid and have lasted longer than any of my makeshift shants, but they're really on their last legs. |

In any case, I think I've unwittingly implied that I care a lot more about this issue than I actually do. I don't care to argue for or against the smashing of vehicles - like I said - it's not something I would do but I understand why someone would do it. It's the theory I support far more than the action. Peace out! |
Is that the Shepard line that Mel Lastman created even though there wasn't a need for it? Or am I thinking of something else? |

Just venting.
Miller is an idiot, as are his acolytes at City Hall. Totally corrupted by power, deaf and blind to the people that foolishly put them in power. He has no idea how the real world works, throws around money the city doesn't have on wastefull ventures (landfill and Theatre Passe Murille amongst others) and tries to stop viable projects that would increase business and capital investment (Island Airport bridge/expansion). And then as soon as his tax grab to screw the comman folk more is rejected, outcomes the fear mongering about killing TTC routes, fare hikes and cuts to services, reducing the number of police etc. Basically we get screwed either way without dinner or even alittle foreplay. Aside from that, how do I get sealed bearings out of a hub? Coolio, post 28082, or 28082 backwards. |
