That was me hollering "hey" to you yesterday in MEC, Stuart - I probably should've come over and introduced myself but I just wanted to get my cleaner stuff and go home and dry off heh. Sorry. However the cashier that served me (Angela?) was particularly attractive, which was nice.

does anyone have a flat, painless route to get to eglinton/dvp? i took a new job there and i hate taking train-transfer-train-bus-walk to toronto's outer wasteland. it takes an hour. it can't possibly take an hour to ride there, could it?
looking presentable with minimum sweat would be nice. thanks! |

If anyone's looking for some new wheels, here's a pretty good deal on Craigslist.

looking presentable with minimum sweat would be nice. thanks! There's a ton of work going on on Warden, so I'd avoid that for the time being. Cooler weather right now = less sweaty, I guess but that's about all I have. |

Until the snow flies, you could ride right up the don recreational trail and then across eglinton.

Hey guys, does anyone know where I can rent a tandem bike? Or does anyone on the board have one I can rent?
I don't have a car but still want to pick someone up on a date... I thought it might be fun. |

Thats the route I use. In the morning/afternoon the bus/taxi/bikelanes are nice and keep the majority of the traffic away from you.

AND if you feel like playing hooky, you can go to the science centre!
What job did you get, Canice?

People actually respect those b/t/b lanes on Overlea? Every time I head up/down Bay, I tend to see quite a few "unmarked taxis" and sedan-sized buses

that's quite a commute. here i was moaning to myself about having to go to queen and jarvis every day...
on an unrelated note i now have an extra media player that i don't need (after buying an ipod) if anyone's interested in buying or trading for it or such. it's a sansa e250 that i literally used once. plus it comes loaded with lucas brunelle videos! thought i'd ask here before it hits craigslist. shoot me a pm if you're interested. |

I'd take O'Connor to Pape to Millwood just so I'm not going far east before cutting west again... both Donlands and Pape are fine for riding on though, and Danforth is never an issue for me. I blasted upto Main/Danforth this morning in a gnats pube over 30 minutes... felt PUMPED. |
Anyone interested in a Nitto b123 aluminum track bar (unused) 25.4 with shims, if you want them. Not going to use it. Please PM me.

I posted a pic of my bike in the Fixed/SS thread pics and got lambasted for my bar installation.
http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.p...ostcount=32832 Little did I know that there's a Toronto Rides thread where we are all much more civilized and polite. I hope to be able to contribute as much as possibile here, and get all the inside jokes and references in due time. |
