Toronto Fixed

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that I just became a dealer for IRO cycles. They have some interesting stuff.
I ordered a Cyclo Cross (Rob Roy) frame that I am going to build up fixed this season. Fenders, wide tires and the lot!
They have some good prices on cranks and such too. It's all 3/32" but still for the price its awesome.

The Mark V Pro (which is the Track Frame with no cable bosses and such) will sell for $475. That's the most expensive frame. (comes with a fork too though, so still a pretty sweet deal)
The other frames all sell within $50 of this price as well...
Pretty reasonable really!
I just ordered in one of their fixed Cross Frames for myself..

It was good except the 3 minute hail storm 8km from my house GG. Hehe. Come out to ... possibly next Saturdays ride. It starts at kipling station.
Also since we're with the TBN, we can volunteer on Sunday for the ride for heart (free lunch,t-shirt,ride), which is also the reason for no TBN rides on that day. Your knee should be good to go by then

Ok tomorrow's the day!! Where are you guys??
Hopefully I'll see some of you guys outside the Princes Gates at 7am! Lets keep our fingers crossed for no rain!
If anyone gets separated and still wants to meet for lunch/beer...We're planning on getting to "C'est What" between 1130am and noon...
Its at the Corner of CHURCH STREET and FRONT STREET (South East Side)

funny...just went to find my sticker (the one you need to ride with)...
My wife threw it out...
I just rode over to 1255 Bay Street and got a new one...You can actually register and pick up your badge there too (BAY and YORKVILLE)....no lineups really...

I only saw one fixie out there-I was on my road bike too, I had planned to do a longer ride, but changed my mind after I left my place.

On the donut ride on Saturday, some dude rode it on a brakeless track bike. The guy was an animal. Legs like a body builder, he pretty much hung with the lead group through all but the steepest uphills, and fastest downhills where he couldn't quite hang on. It was pretty impressive.
