yam fries... dammmn... buffalo burger.. hot diggity. gettin hungry. i ride by c'est what on my way home all the time, now i'm thinking about poppin' in.
about the pics: that's me on the red sannino, and my two crazy co-workers, amro and rob, riding a fully-suspended giant, and trek hard tail respectively. some nice spin-out action on the northbound ramp when the gardiner merges into the dvp. i spotted a guy with a bloody shirt and blood dripping down his arm.. nice. rob, i kept peering into the oncoming lane expecting to see you guys (rob is recognizable for some reason) but no such luck. i saw a grand total of 2 fixed gears, a plethora of spandex-carbonium, 1 unicycle, and one of those "chopper-bikes". i spotted the guy on the chopper after the ride but wondered if he did the entire 50km on that thing. damn...

C'est What is definitely one of my favorite places. Its very relaxing in there...even when it gets busy. I like Fionn Macools (mostly for the Kilts) but the Oatmeal Stout at C'est What is definitely a good reason for an extra 50foot walk for me

The guy on the fixed on the Donut this past weekend is a long time messenger/racer. I wonder if the clown who said fixies were not welcome on the Donut was there. Prolly got his ass handed to him. NICE!!

hey rob(bikeophile), haven't been to the fionn's on the esplanade.. but are the kilts there as good as the kilts at the fionn's on king??!!
bikeo, operator and cavit8: did you guys ride together the entire way? logistically, meeting up with larger groups is a pain.. everyone gets separated anyways.

Could have been, hard to say. He's just trying to get a rise out of everyone. Who cares about guys like that? Why would you go on a group ride, then be so antisocial? Anyway, I'm going to ride it a few more times geared in the lead group before I try it fixed...riding in a pack of geared riders on my fixie is going to be a bit of a challenge.

Bikeophile,
well I have been riding with the group, and I can assure that the group is not an elistist group, , and with regards to the Canadian Cyclist website,I only visit the classified section and the international news but the forum never, the people there are very uptight, and the donut ride is really a mixture of wannabee pros, amatuer, oldies (like me) when you join the ride try going or start from the beginning , or have coffe at the Canadian Bagel shop, at Laird and Eglinton, you will meet the oldies having coffee before the ride, and you will only hear words of encouragement from them....I think Ihave seen Cavernmech, in one of the ride.

Although I don't agree with this comments I do know that he is not alone in his opinions.

yes, that why I tend to shy away from that forum. know what after a hard day at work, I don't want to engage in a cyber war, I go to my computer go to bikeforums, read the news and play games, that is if the weather is nice, I ride my bike
