Back in May, someone came to the track (FCV) with his track bike on a roof rack on his Porsche Boxster. The rack mounted to the front pillar, allowing the top to be put up or down, and was apparently a factory accessory. It actually looked kinda cool.

We just got CETMA racks in the shop. I am seriously considering one.

I like the look of a utilitarian bike and it is funny that you mention a ski rack on a Porsche...the old 944s were excellent in the snow. I remember seeing a photo of this super-dirty grey 944 with a big rack of skis on it's roof and it looked awesome. Probably part of that was knowing that it was a Porsche.

I'm annoyed. My landlord just waltzed in today doing a half-assed knock as he was turning the key in the door. I told him I don't appreciate it (not to mention I'm pretty sure it is illegal to do that without prior warning). On the other hand I don't want to ***** too much because at least the leaky dishwasher will be fixed. And hopefully whatever is stuck in the drain pipe and being all smelly-like will be gone too.

I'm of two minds. On one hand I am going ot the Tour next year to watch and would love to see Lance ride, but on the other I would like to remember Jordan as a Bull and as a winner, not as a Wizard and a loser. Plus, since he will apparently ride for Astana, what about Contador?

I'm torn

Nella knives are great for restaurants where they are abused, droped, used to open cans etc. they don't hold an edge as well as 'professional' knives, but are easy to maintain. As for their equipment, should be about the same as other places. Besides cookie sheets what are you in the market for? I use silicone baking sheets at home, place right on the cookie sheet and no sticking ever, throw in the sink wipe down when done and ready fo the next batch.

More like a Royal Rumble with 30 chefs. I'm one of the heels, when ref isn't looking I spray the good guys in the eyes with the Coffee Time coffee in my mouth.

+1 on the silicone on top of the cookie sheets. We use those at home too. Good stuff!

Also, a reminder.. Tuesday nights = CX clinics in Centennial Park. All bicycle types welcome, and there were all sorts there last week. Lots of newbies, so don't be afraid! It was a ton of fun and really friendly. Starts at 6:30pm at the ski hill. $10 for non-Midweek Club people. I'll probably be riding out there tomorrow night, so even if you want to just come for a spin out to the park and check things out, that's cool too!

I've got some oollllllld gnarly, pizza/fries/cookie thangs, they have to go. I need some nice metal rectangular sheets, and some new pizza pans. I might go with silicon on top afterwards ($$no?) I have a silicon baking thingy for 6 fourinch rounds I use for baking my fancy mashed potatoes in. Love it. We're doing new recipes on Sundays and the kids are learning the kitchen thing now so sounds like the Nella knives might be just the ticket. I don't think I deserve a pro knife, but the 6-in-a-block-of-wood-for-christmas have to go as well. As for cookware, something with bases that won;t warp with heat would be nice, (read CHEAP assed frying pans), and some bigger pots for stock making and soups. We're getting ready to tear the kitchen apart and would like to slowly invest in some nicer kitchen action toys. Simplifying but with better gear.

Get yourself a 7.5qt le crueset. Expensive, but well worth it. (i.e. your kids can have it when you kick the bucket) 'bout to fry up a batch of some awesome halibut I procured and chips in mine.

I have a nice baking pan (has upturned edges) that is too big for my stove. You can have it if you want. It's non-stick and is 17 1/4 x 29.2 x 1". And for other stuff https://www.cayneshousewares.com/ is an option.
