Does anyone have any idea of the conditions in the Don? I wouldn't mind doing a little offroading this weekend to get used to my mountain bike prior to Paris to Ancaster.

ya man thats where cool K found these and gave me the heads up...

they come up every now and then... I dont know why but it seems like its really really tight clipped in...
and I really like that feeling...I jumped a pothole the other day kinna worrying if I would unclip but I acutally jumped it fully clipped in...amazing...the eggbeaters werent bad but not nearly as tight...and Ive had the odd unexpected unclip with the eggers.

hows the new addition doin Jeremy? hope all is well. enjoy it...gabbys in major growth spurt mode (just turned 3 in march) and sometimes workin late just makes me miss things...dont let that happen too much! :)

jake's having a bit of a growth spurt of his own right now; i'm trying not to work too many nights but in a restaurant what are you going to do? i can't wait for him to grow up a little so i can take him out on rides - all this time off the bike is killing me - my pants are getting tight and i'm feeling really out of shape. when can i get him in a trailer?

d00000d I never hooked up the trailer... I dont know man...just wasnt feelin the safety level...I think I would do it if I was only riding on bike paths or suttin but just too paro with the precious cargo in there ridin on the streets...nah i mean?

hahahahahahaha yo man...all my weight training etc slid to the side once Gabs came along...its cool...youll hit your stride again...now you also see why I was all about sliding out real early morning for a spin and a coffee! speaking of which...

the safety issue is the one thing that still concerns me about the trailer, although conceivably i could only use it on the martin goodman and for fun in high park...
i've been off work for a little while too so not even any commuting for me and all this sitting around and cooking nice meals and such = getting tubby around the middle. early morning coffee spins you say?...

speaking of eggbeaters, i'd like to unload mine if anyone's looking for a pair or extra pair. let me know if you're interested and we can work out a trade or some such thing. they work fine i just don't use them anymore.

Always the daddy workout.... sit him on your chest and do crunches, play bounce... hold him under the arms and boing boing boing off the floor tv table furniture etc etc while making "boing" sound, after 5-10 minutes you'll feel it. Lift him up a few dozen times off your chest. You get the idea, then you both snooze on the couch.

For those of you who don't follow road riding, George Hincapie is one of those classic hard men who's been in the sport for ages. He was Lance's main back-up guy for all those wins and George himself has always been an absolute monster in the spring classics and tons of one-day races. He's never won the biggest of the classics though (Flanders/Paris-Roubaix) but there's still a chance. Dude's definitely one of my favourite riders. Oh count me in. I'm nack on nights until July, then out of town all summer so I need to take advantage of early rides and coffee.

The river trail is pretty dry right now I heard. I think I'm riding it tomorrow so i can let you know after.

So the River trail in the Don is great to ride right now. Excellent morning to be hitting the trails.

Anyone wanting to do any road riding this weekend? I think I'll do the donut tomorrow, but I was wanting to get more miles in across the weekend, so far my only "plan" is to head over to my buddy and hang out at DVP/Eg, so I'm pretty open...
